We had a ton of BS and could not break the Guardian's spider tanks - even with rapid target switching. I felt bad for our FC who could only play the encounter out. 10 Scorps/Falcons or 10-15 carriers with ecm drones would have made a big difference by jamming the guardians (and a titan to 1 shot Shamis and kill his fleet bonus). Of course you never have the ships you need when something unexpected goes down. PL are doing a lot of log on traps. They had logged a 70 man fleet for a day or so in an adjacent system expecting the fight to be there - still only gave 3 or 4 min to react - might be worth finding out where Shamis -PL's titan/supercap pilots and FC's are if you are planning a cap op - especially if its a pos op that gives hostiles over a day to set up on a reinforced pos. So get your worthless empire mission running alts doing something useful. Locater agents!
