Today the Amarr Militia successfully concluded her campaign to reclaim from the Minmatar Republic all solar systems in The Bleak Lands and Devoid falling under the "Emergency Militia War Powers Act". Kourmonen as last system was reclaimed today, YC 112.05.14. In the last week of this campaign Minmatar resistance was totally broken and non existent. It is by strong corporation between the leading forces within the 24th Imperial Crusade that this result was accomplished and here at this moment I give my blessing to all those pilots who fought with exceptional valour and diligence in this holy campaign.

Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon Tides come and go. Floods we have yet to see.
Floods we have seen, we have just finsihed cleaning up after one. But in the end, all goes back to what it was in the beginning.
To stretch the metaphor, I think to make true gains, one side needs to change the course of the river.
Have the Minmatar stopped to consider what they are fighting for? With all the tonnage of ships they have lost in pursuit of their idealism, they could have purchased hundreds of thousands of slavery contracts and then would have been free to release them.
But instead, they throw ship after ship to take the hardest and most violent route for a cause they have done little to impact. The cause of fighting for slavery is a noble-sounding cause, though ultimately misguided and short-sighted. But, truth be told, if every slave was freed tomorrow morning, by the afternoon I'm certain the Minmatar would find another reason to continue fighting.
It is in the nature of the free Minmatar to fight, but they will gladly envelop it within any plausible cause to appease their more rational side.

Yet again with this pompous bull****. I will lay down my arms the day Amarrians stop considering the Minmatar people as their "rightful slaves" and steer clear from Republic's sovereign systems - and leave the Ammatar to rot. For me, that would be a day of joy. But what do I see? Just over a day ago an Amarrian Special Forces operative reared his ugly face in Abudban - I'm not even going to ask how he got past the customs officials -, cheerily mentioning once he'll get home to the teat of Amarrian rule he'd go abuse the sister of one of the pilots present. Likely, this was a lie, but what do you think keeps perpetuating the hate but such speech, show of no remorse what the Amarrian have done in their existence? Very large portion of Amarrians I've met on the battlefield seem to lack any kind of rational thought, they keep spouting nonsense of how we are still their slaves and falsely running their mouths on what they will or would do to our relatives. It is very distasteful to claim to take the high road for an Amarrian, their history is full of nothing but causing untold pain for billions of innocent people, people unaware of their "holy mission".
And as I see it, the Amarrian Empire is doomed to repeat its horrifying past, many of them seem to have learned nothing. They have learned no remorse, they have learned no compassion, even under the promising Emperor Heideran VII. Until the Amarrians stop repeating their horrific mistakes, crimes against humanity, they have no place to berate others.
And I hate use this low blow, but I can only hope the recent abduction of tens of thousands of Amarrian people in Kamela has taught at least something for the Amarrians what it is like to feel the pain of having your loved ones taken away, never being certain will you see them again. ~~Ayuun Korras, Venge Captain of the Republic Militia. |

"Pain begets pain.
Dare I ask how compassionately our citizens are being treated, Korras? Will the Minmatar exemplify humane treatment of those they so despise? Will they rise up higher than you say we Amarr are incapable?
Or, shall our citizens suffer fates worse than even the Brutor face in the Empire? How many frightened Amarrian children have been viciously attacked by Minmatar warriors plagued with blood lust? How many mothers-to-be have lost their unborn to cruel Vherokior blades?
Compassion is strongest not when barbarity rules supreme, but only when the Heart of God leads his followers."

I offer congratulations to all my brother Amarr pilots and their crews and staff for this hard one victory.
Let us take a moment to remeber those we have lost in the conflict.
Sadly, we barely restore order from one threat and another, perhaps deadlier threat looms on the horizon.
Forward now! And may God be with us all!

You should ask that of the Sansha's True Slaves, not me, altough they likely will not answer - haven't you heard that Sansha's Nation invaded Kamela just recently and made off with a sizeable number of Amarrian people? I'd wager they have as much compassion as the Amarr did when they descended their slaveraiding fleets on Pator, that is to say none at all. Your mention of "cruel Vherokior blades" also gives away your lack of understanding of our tribal culture - very few Vherokior are interested in doing battle, most of us Vherokior are traders, mystics, wanderers by nature, by blood - not soldiers. While yes, some people take different paths in their life, our ancestry is defining the future for many of us.
And I wow, here, now, I will not lay a hand on Amarrian civilians in anger. I seek justice, not revenge. I can't of course vouch for all of my kin, or speak for what all of us want, but this is what you can expect from me.
Let me ask you, though, who is more of a barbarian? The one who hides his face and actions behind the supreme edict of a merciless god, or someone who takes responsibility of their own actions, not claiming it was god's will? ~~Ayuun Korras

Populations being as they are, it is unlikely that the majority of people abducted would be True Amarr. More likely to be Ni-Kunni, Ealurian or Minmatar tradespeople and workers.
In any case, Blood Raider and Sansha slave raids aren't a particularly new thing. Only the scale of this incursion is new.
As for the rest of it, does it not show that the Minmatar cannot defeat the Empire, and should seek a ceasefire? With territory as it was before the war started, there will not be any new things to cause grudges, and perhaps something more permanent can be found to solve the issue.

So are you implying these previously said to be a valuable part of the Amarrian culture and equal people, are actually less important than True Amarr? Again the Amarrian two-facedness shows up. And I have nothing against a ceasefire or seeking more peaceful resolutions, but it is not in my hands to decide such things, so why ask me?

No.
I am pointing out that certain elements, who shout "how do you like those apples?" and similar sentiments, are misguided.
They are all Amarrian people, but not all True Amarr, so statements of "ha, the Amarr got what they deserve", are foolishness.

Not even the Amarr "deserve" to become mindless drones of the Nation. But as someone else put it earlier, they have given the Amarr a taste of their own medicine.

Ayuun Korras,
Perhaps I spoke with insufficient knowledge; for that, I apologize. I agree, too, it is unlikely the Sanshas know of compassion. What little knowledge I have of them shows them to be beyond barbaric.
You did pose a question, though:
Originally by: Ayuun Korras Let me ask you, though, who is more of a barbarian? The one who hides his face and actions behind the supreme edict of a merciless god, or someone who takes responsibility of their own actions, not claiming it was god's will?
To me, the answer would be "an atheist." Are you, or your people, atheist? Or, are you and your people guided by what you may call 'god?' In which case, then, an atheist would say we both hide from our responsibilities behind a god.
Such a discourse, of course, is not for this series of transmissions.
