The whole point of RP is that it's not tightly scripted ù if it is, it's just a communal book reading ù but something that evolves dynamically from the input of the players. People showing up out of nowhere and having a romp means that the event did exactly what it was supposed to do: engage the player base and let them experience something out of the ordinary.
