Is EVE as crowded with Macro and "Hardcore" Minners as these fourm topics seem to think

Most miners aren't macro. Ice miners are for the most part but I have Ice Mining 5, all the things that make Ice Mining l33t and pro and I dont blame anyone for macro mining that stuff. Its boring.
Hardcore miners? 2 hrs a day, 10 a week, high sec mining gets you around 100 mill a week. Thats good low end money for building up a nooblet. For the other 95% of EvE its a joke so they go 'hardcore' to compensate and make it worth thier while ISK wise. |

hardcore miners, a fully skilled miner in a hulk should bring in 10mill isk per hour mining just veld in hi sec let alone lolsec... on a good day i can bring in 80 to 120 mill per day if i play all day......witty comment, in before opps

I dont know what Skills you would need for that.
Solo dropping my own ore I make an average of 2 mill an hr.
Full T2 in a hulk. |

No, I'm serious. It's the newbs. Especially the noobs, though.
At first they are told to train Learnings, **** in the meantime or whatever, and then come back.
Ask a newb to pick something up in a system 6 jumps away and he'll be like... UUUHHH... WHAT?... wait... SIX jumps?... that... THAT'LL BE LIKE AN HOUR... or three... mmh.. no... no, sorry, just no... I rather go fly another lvl3 mission, I already have a Raven. It's too far.
And that's exactly why high pop regions get more and more crowded and low pop regions like Kor-Azor, Kador, Gemini, Placid, etc. stay low pop regions and you have trouble to find market orders and have to resort traveling to Amarr, Jita, Motsu, Rens, or other trade hubs.
I go 100 jumps in a freighter at times and newbs are too thick to move 10 jumps in a frigate or sth., EVE is not crowded. End of story tbh.
/edit: Also, screw the macro miners and RMTers, a majority got already swiped clean, hooray CCP, and they continue cleaning EVE! ;)

2 mil. only  ? Poor you. Get to some 0.5 sec. status and mine there, you shoud get 8/10 mil / hour

Depends on the mineral price but atm it's about 9M ISK/hr for Veldspar (maxed as in t2 strips, t2 crystal, level 5 exhumer, HX-2 and michi's augmentor, 0% refine tax and no loss at refining), not counting the time required to haul the ore, refine it and haul the minerals to a station to sell at. All variables though. I use to subtract about 15% from it, makes it 7.65M/hr. Although a maxed pew pew'er needs more SP, (s)he makes more with bounties and (time) rewards alone.

But Everybody talks about how the market gets max saturated with minerals being sold for whatever price by RMT and the rest of us miners suffer from not being able to make a decent profit, for the time spent mining for Isk I could like mow lawns @10$ an hour and buy a GTC and make like 600mil Isk in 4 hours so Y play EVE for Isk when I could chop firewood or something for a fraction of the time and spend all my gaming time going Pew Pew!
What I want to know Is how many macro account people think are active.

Market will balance itself out again, but funky times ahead for couple months after expansion. People will start to mine whats worth it and abandon whats not. When market changes, pro miners recalculate situation.
