According to the patch notes, some agents in hisec systems which were't sending us to neighbouring lowsec systems for missions have been "fixed". Will this affect Vir Honn? Are we going to be sent next door to Eifer while people running missions for Caldari Navy will continue to have many agents in the one system sending them no further than the next two hisec systems over?

actually as far as i read it NO he will not as the reason he doesn't send you into eifer is totally different
Vir Honn doesn't send you into eifer as agents won't send you across constellation boundaries for missions. Vir has actually sent me 11 jumps away from emo into lowsec in the current patch ( not very often but it does happen )
so imo no he won't send you into eifer but he's always been able to send you into lowsec

I have read those patch notes ever since they first appeard about a week ago. Since then i've done some missions for the sisi vir honn and declined some to see what change will happen exactly. I've seen about 60 or so missions and from those 60 only 2 were to Eifer. The rest was like normal, to Ammold, Lustrevik or Emolgranlan itself. Of course this does not prove anything as the change might not be on the test server yet.
What i'm trying to say is that at the moment Vir Honn does send you to low-sec (both on Tranq and Sisi - I've done more than 200 missions for Vir honn on Tranq and he only has sent me there 5 times) but does so very rarely.
Hope this helped a bit. |

I had the same issue.
Read info box more thoroughly.
It couldn't find a patch for your current test build and therfore promted to DL the complete package.
Just delete all content in your current EVE test folder, replace with fresh copy of TQ folder and THEN start EVE from test server folder.
Will then patch for a lot less.
But maybe you're totally fap-capped from 2 much p0rn?

Well he does send you to Gusandal for hauling stuff sometimes(that is one jump behind Eifer).
Somebody claimed that he did a mission there 3 days ago, what I found strange since it never happened to me. Might have checked his story but it was to much effort to probe him down and he was only in a cane.
Also Eifer is a quiet little system, I would not worry to much about it. ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank!

Um, LOL...the mean coalition, specifically Mean Corp has Eifer and the surrounding low-sec systems camped at times, and are known for probing out mission/complex runners and podding...nice try bud
I'd be careful of Eifer and Gusandal if you plan on doing anything in there and watch out for Mean Corp, and their alliance

Let's see.. Since Apocrypha 1.5:
Vir Honn has given me four mining missions, loads more courier missions, and some kill missions in Eifer, and Ingunn. Note this is a few hundred missions, so the percentage is still very low but noticeable.
Before that (for over a year), not a single mining mission, and very rarely courier missions, and no trips to low sec.
So my guess is the mission table has been altered a wee bit. A nerf? perhaps, but it makes life more interesting.
Your Mileage May Vary

Rod |
