question: if i subscribe a 21 day buddy account with a 30 day plex, will the other account that invited me still receive the 30 days free?

i had heard rumors that you have to petition.
a response to this question from someone from CCP would be great.

No, you don't have to petition. Using PLEX is a valid account activation process and yes, it will turn your account into activated and yes, your other account that you used to send yourself a buddy invite will get that month free.
Why the hell do you even ask in general forums, if the only thing you are interested in is CCP response? You know, there actually *are* petitions just to achieve that.

i did petition on 2 accounts. it has been days with no response.

mmm,
I actualy just did this very thing, and havent recieved the 30 days yet either. Maybe something is broke. I'll get a peition in and see what happens i guess.

can CCP forum patrol provide a response on this topic please? apparently it is not just me with the question/issue.
is it standard protocol that you have to petition for the 30 days, and that petition will never be denied?

It does work automatically and immediately, I did it a few months back. But some have posted it is buggy and not being applied so you simply revert to the old system of petitioning it to be applied. Either way you get the 30 days.
Petitioning for a question that is easy to look up on their guides clogs the system up, so of course they are likely to put it at the bottom of the pile as they have relevant petitions to deal with first.

I actually answered a thread with a very similar topic not too long ago, which you can find here. That should also answer your main question in this regard.
As for your petition that you seem to have going, I can not guarantee that it will never be denied, as there are some things that still can prevent a postive reply (as outlined in the terms & Conditions for the buddy program here) and it's impossible to give a guarantee at all, that is up to the GMs handling your petition to check and decide.

I started 8 a while back and was told stricly "NO" because time codes didnt count towards making an account "subscribed"...
It looks like they have changed views on this, wonder if I can petition for my OLD OLD accounts
