United in one shining moment, all our ancestors wiped the Nation from the stars. As it was before, so shall it be again.

The abbess requested that I confirm my attendance.
...well, actually her exact words were that I should post here to say "yeah, I'm gonna conference HARD and FAST" but I don't think she was being entirely serious.

On Mme. Doyle's likely support, I step forward as co-chairman of Gallentean cultures and affliates, following her previous recommendation for myself to step in as head chair.

You're welcome at the event, which is in virtual reality and thus rather secure.
Rest assured that any attempts to usurp control over the Summit's VR environment, fluid comms router, or network uplink components will be met with swift reprisal from dozens of well-trained operatives. We're not taking prisoners on that note.

I will be in attendance, however I'm extremely hesitant about sharing sensitive information with sympathizers in a public audience. I would strongly urge caution in discussing strategic plans and intel gathering methods in front of anyone without any kind of security protocol.

Edited by: Ashar KorAzor on 17/05/2010 14:33:51 Captain Blackheart - if you're going to take on the majority, don't be surprised if you find yourself possessed of the shattered end of the stick.
After the crisis is over, you can have your neutral ground back. Until then, well...if you're a Nation supporter, I would consider yourself at war with most other capsuleers.

We are in agreement here. Details on how sensitive information will be handled have been worked out to a degree.

Quote: I bought a Starcake and they gave me a receipt for the Starcake. I don't need a receipt for the Starcake. I give you money and you give me the Starcake, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a Starcake. Don't even act like I didn't get that Starcake, I've got the documentation right here. It's in my file at my captain's quarters, under "S".
While you bicker amongst yourselves at this futile exercise in bureaucracy, know that millions more of your citizens will know liberation. They will embrace unity as your empires argue with each other through the night.
Tear yourselves apart. In the end, only Nation will remain.

Is not the point of such neutral ground so that those at war can communicate in a safe location?

Only if you can justify the attempt to retrieve a sample of Kyonoke Plague on the part of the unilateral aggressor.
We have no indication that this conflict will honor any sort of concept of conventional warfare; this is caused by the adoption of an inhumane posture on the part of Sansha's Nation that is utterly indefensible.
Until this posture changes, you'll just have to contend with the fact that, during open conflict, an aggressor that commits crimes against the bulk of cluster society will have one less soapbox.
Nothing prevents Sansha's Nation representatives from forging ahead and using diplomatic channels. They just can't come to the enemy conference and expect a voice.
If that truly strikes you as unreasonable, I've got a cleverly worded war declaration you can use on the Jovians that's yours for a negligible fee.
I don't, however, have any more time for discussions of your problems - someone just kidnapped a million people in my home region. Any clue who it was?

I do believe that is unconfirmed, as is whether it was an "attempt" or a completed act.

Why is the Order of the Blessed Sisters of Amarr working together with known terrorists and other assorted non-Amarrians to deal with a matter in Amarrian space, which is under Amarrian jurisdiction?
We do not need Gallente or Caldari, and certainly not the likes of Electus Matari to deal with the Sansha Incursion in Amarr Empire space.
Any faithful subjects of the grand Amarr Empire, I urge you to think long and hard about casting your support or actively helping with this project. Remember you will be working with known terrorists who have committed uncountable attrocities against our Empire, murdering countless of faithful, loyal and innocent Amarrian men, women and children. To the Order of the Blessed Sisters of Amarr, I urge you to reconsider going forward with this endeavor. While I'm sure it wasn't your intention, your actions may directly or indirectly cause great harm to your own people of Amarr. The day Amarr starts working with terrorists on equal terms, is the day we allow ourselves to be overrun by the barbarian hordes.

I don't know what the virtue of such a position is supposed to be, captain, but if you can bear not to bandy it about there are special projects for you aplenty as a capsuleer. The black cadre already has an eye on you. Originally by: Aria Jenneth I will of course attend as a representative for the Angel Cartel, unless some member of PRETA or Stillwater wishes to object.
It's been too long, Abbess.
Don't take a tone of familiarity with me, Jenneth. Your crackbrained thinking is still as dangerous a meme-set as ever, and you're about as representative of Curse as a Thukker chequebook is of a volume of monetary record.
True agents of the Cartel do not make themselves so plain as that. You want to come? Come as a pilot. And don't name the names of potentially key groups in public when they seek to remain in the dark. My God.
I expect you're trying to keep the faction you claim to serve out of this by mentioning them and thus destroying our chances of getting real representation - have you simply not read the report that they've gone to Kyonoke Pit? Are you truly so juvenile as that? Your doltish approach to loyalty in a time of extreme crisis offends me.
I hope no one is a big enough fool to overtly mention Angel Cartel allegiance here again. Do not further harm our chances.

Despite my lack of official status within CAIN or the State, Nederland-haan and Hakatain-haan may feel free to call upon me should they require anything. I have been looking for a new project to occupy my time, and burning out this particular infection would give me great joy. The return of Ms. Blackheart and her cohorts should give everyone pause -- the wars between the State and Federation, between the Republic and Empire -- they are wars of territory and power, but the war with the Sansha, who left behind anything human long ago, is one for our survival. -- CAPT Svetlana Scarlet, Ret.

Invitation accepted.
I understand Gaia's concerns, though; we should take care that this cooperation and conference stick to the issues at hand, the Sansha, and not waiver into other matters.
I for one promise not to talk about my grievances with any of those who may be in attendance, and use this as an opportunity to work towards eliminating a common enemy.
I encourage all others in attendance to also put aside our other issues for this occasion.
