So
Anyone else really stressed home from work/school today just to discover there were no patch, even though the postponing is old news?

Nope. Just you.
On a related note, ever since a certain boot.ini related issue, I set a longish skill and let other people test the client for me. You cant usually do a lot on patch day anyway.

Nope, knew about the delay. Also, I don't play on patch days. The forumites are my lab rats.

I did rush home, but only cuz I needed to get to the bathroom quick before I shat myself.

That would never happen. Bad marketing. If anything they would release it and nerf it to bits - keeping npc orders as they are now and planets being only marginally suplimental income

Makes mental note:
*Set long skill & avoid eve on patch day +/- 72 hrs. Use forum as feedback.

Currently running a 25 day skill because I expect the patch to be drama for the first couple of days, for the Mac even worse.
I never run home for patchday, I dread downloading the patch actually...

I took a few days off work this week for the patch.
Im not too bothered though, i'd rather have a delay and a working patch than a rushed buggy one. I didn't bother to cancel my holiday as beer tastes good no matter if its patch day or not.
