Well, I fell for the most ridiculous scam ever. pmchem initiated a convo with me, asked some questions and requested an API, the usual stuff. Thinking that I got in after he said everything looked good, I filled out the app and then i followed some instructions. He asked for a deposit of 200mil isk as collateral in case I was indeed a spy and planned to sabotage fleets, etc. Since I only had 126mil isk, I gave 100mil and my domi as collateral as he said I will get it all back in 10 days if nothing happened to ships with me involved (That right there should have been the obvious clue, but no I was too excited that I was back into EVE and 0.0 space) THEN, he said to contract him any ships/items that I wanted to get out to 0.0 and he'll assign one of the jump freighters to pick up my stuff and bring it back to the 0.0 station with out me losing the stuff to pirates on the way. Next day I had an in-game mail that said this: Quote: You have failed to fill out GSOAR correctly. So anyone that is looking for a corp and gets a convo from pmchem or anyone from GoonWaffe, ignore them. I was left with 26mil, an Iteron III and an Ishkur. Luckily I had enough assets laying around to scrounge up some isk to buy a BC. Also within that email I got from GoonWaffe, there is a link that directed me to the process of applying for GoonWaffe/GoonFleet. Sorry mate, but if you watch the forums this has happened many times before. Goons will never go away, you can only scatter them for a bit but they always congeal in some new form. Just be more careful. This is a legitimate game mechanic.

Nice to see some decent people still fly lol. Well, if someone is in need, I've been known in previous games to help them out. I've been on the receiving end of scams, and I know how it can suck. As-is, I'm not playing for another week (when I can start using my stealth bomber) so I don't see myself using it. :)

What normally happen is, that they ask for your limited API first, so they see how much isk you have in your wallet. Then they ask for roughly 1/2 of it, so that you may actually fall for it easier. Normally, ppl wont fall for it if they asked for their full wallet, but 1/2 of their wallet....well, some ppl may take the risk.
