I've been doing missions with the Ministry of War and have my Amarr standings at 6.2 and Caldari at 5.40. Obviously my Minmatar and Gallente have taken a hit and are at -3.32 and -1.63 respectively. I'm not interested in getting all faction standings high just not get shot at if I decide to wander through Minmatar / Gallente space so I have been looking at some of the options.
First is the Sisters of EVE epic arc, I've heard different things from different people that it increases all four major faction standings and I have also heard it only affects Min / Gal. To me this sounds like a decent option, I can just use my AF and blast through it. What I am not clear on is how much this will affect my Min / Gal, if it only increases it very slightly (+0.5?) to me it's not worth the 50 missions I have to do to get it, may as well belt out some Min / Gal missions for storylines. That's actually the second option I was going to list.
So basically is SOE epic arc worth it solely for Min / Gal faction standings or would it be more efficient to focus on storylines?

Take a look at this. It can be worked just a little or a lot, either way I'm sure it'll help.
As for the SoE Epic Arc, I believe when you get towards the end and have to choose which Faction to Fleet with, that's the one you'll get the standings with. Now as for doing 50+ missions to get that, well........

Its a standing bonus (8% transaction) that can be condivided with other pc on a mission arc that can be accessed by newly created pc, no standing required.
do your math ^^

8%, cool.
Any player can do the SoE Epic Arc as long as they can enter all Factions space (above -5.0 Faction Standing), not just new players. And yes, I know you don't need any standings to do the SoE Epic Arc. I just gave the OP another option to get/fix Faction Standings with this. As for doing math.....?
