While im sure this is some form of troll (it being in general, therefor being the home of trolling) I would have thought they had a lot in common with each other. PL being from a pirate background, and GK being..well.. pirates.. They also seemed to work pretty well together fighting the fail that is blast (not that this would be too hard, but they actually worked together and didn't have any infighting as far as outsiders could tell).
The only fundamental difference would be that GK has (or had) no interest in sov, and PL does (or did). I guess one of these could have changed since I last cast my eye on both, but I doubt it.
