I forgot to buy a plex :(

I have petitioned to have my account temporarily re-activated so I can buy a plex. I've seen people talking about temporary reactivations on the forums before, but I'm unsure CCP will allow it. My question is: Do CCP temporarily reactivate accounts to allow the buying of a plex? (I only need it reactivated for ten mins tops!) How long does it usually take? Thanks!

I'm not sure if they'll be happy if you just contract all your stuff to another account and not use that one anymore... It usually goes very fast, from a few hours to 1 day, worst I've had is 2 days.

Only time I had to wait more than a couple day was when expire right after Dominion so of course I in the queue with all the people whining about whatever bug from expansion.

Unfortunately, as mentioned, this might take a bit longer what with the patch tomorrow and the current issues keeping CCP busy. The good news is that they do allow this ~_~

What was surprising was the GM replied at 4am thats an interesting time to be at work :O But yeh total time to sort out in theory was about a day or skill wise 4 hours, I did get bugged when I logged in with my screen saying nothing but 'you have 2 petitions would you like to see them' with nothing happening after clicking yes 9872435983475 times but it was all sorted nice and quick :)

So since I've got some experience with this matter my tip would be to submit the petition in-game with your second or trial account because it never took longer than 1 hour, sometimes it happened within minutes, to activate my account, using the "web-service" however I've waited quite a long time.

If you do not, you can give isk with your active acct (or a friend could give to your expired acct) and then buy a gtc with isk through the forum. There is a sticky in the timecard forum that covers this.

A friend of mine did it by the web and it took a few hours. Caught him out actually as he had only a few hours left when he logged:)
