I just noticed that someone bought out all the +4 charisma implants and relisted them for double the isk. I Will have to disburse my LP for this one because of this, or wait a couple of days.

'Infomorph Pyschology' and 'Research Project Management' disagree with you...

so, why should pi?
answer in the op if you tards read it.
because ccp wants to make it take longer to train the skills. it's that simple. they do this intentionally all the time in case you haven't noticed or is your brain the size of a pea?
Research Project Management MEM/CHR is already breaking the INT/MEM of Science. Then there is Infomorph.
EDIT: I need to learn Patience and read more than the first page.

Are you serious? Even with the CHA prime stat getting both to level 4 takes less than 8 days.If you plan to make this a primary income source then worry about getting the 5's "whenever" but if this is just side income (which I can't imagine it being otherwise for anyone who already makes money in this game -- which is everyone. . . . ) then 4's are quite sufficient.
As it is, I will have all 5 of the new skills to 4 (completely suffieicent skill level) a couple of days before the June 8th land rush, and CHA is my lowest stat.
HTFU dude.

Too bad we can't inject a little charisma into you. I think a baby bottle with some warm milk and a couple hours of WoW might settle you down.

Originally by: SpikeHeaded Hippy Main attribute charisma? CCP are a bunch of ******s that make players take longer to train skills. Why else would they do something soo stupid to the player base. I could understand if you had a 3rd skill that would make your colonist work faster. But, that skill doesn't exist.
Take your PI and shove it where the sun don't shine.
Yeah it's almost as if they should add some more Charisma skills into the game or something. ---

Let's see. PI has 5 skills. 2 are CHA/INT and 3 are INT/MEM. Yes. Terrible.

I would reply: Name one government that is run Intelligently.
Charisma gets them elected. Intelligence determines how well they will be able to rip you off. Willpower determines the amount of effort they'll put into ripping you off. Perception determines how well they'll be able to cover up their rip offs. Memory (the lowest attribute) allows them to forget their promises (and previous rip offs), usually just before the next election.
PI skills ? Walk in the park. No remapping or additional implants required. One Rank 1, one Rank 3, two Rank 4 and 1 Rank 5 skill (though it appears that Planetology and Advanced Planetology aren't needed yet though they are seeded on the market. The description notes they will improve the resolution of resource data when scanning planets, but it doesn't note by how much per skill level).
Price ? Shouldn't even be a topic of discussion. CC Upgrades and Interplanetary Consolidation - 450k each. Remote Sensing - 250k. Total (to start) 1.15 million.
I don't know about the other Indy focused players, but I have Charisma trained just as high as my other attributes on my toons (as well as 12 of the 14 Social skills at lvl IV or V which makes a big difference when dealing with agents).
I suspect a lot of players will jump into PI in the beginning, thinking this will be a new "gold rush", then drop out just as quickly as they came in when they find it is almost as exciting as ice mining.
