I don't know why you guys don't get it. CCP WANT EVERYONE TO GET OUT OF HIGHSEC. It's not that hard to understand. Missions needed a nerf anyways, missions were much better than null sec ratting and plexing in terms of safety and isk/hr.

If they really wanted people to get out of hisec they would get rid of hisec.

Actually null sec plexing/anoms are way better than l4 missions in every way possible and this was the case before this patch was put in place.
Safety? Sure there is a SMALL risk but you're in a deadspace location when you're plexing or doing anomalies so you won't lose a ship unless you're completely brain dead.
In all actuality this isn't really a mission nerf to any decent degree. People will just learn through force that the best way to mission is to blitz them...which has ALWAYS been the case. My mission running alt will make maybe 500k less isk an hour... ~~ Hyey

I don't like lowsec because I prefer not losing extremely expensive ships and being podded.
I'm paranoid, guys.

Safety in high sec? Tell the hulks / industrial ships / "pinata" mission boats that......It is much safer in 0.0 than high sec, simply due to the lack of people, and knowing that every neut / red wants to kill you.

i enjoy seeing more targets i mean carebears i mean podpilots running missions in low sec. My suggestion leave motsu and head to deep amarr space high sec its high sc 10j in every direction wont get to many ls missions Signature - CCP what this game needs is more variance in PVE aspects and a little bit less PVP focus, more content more varied level 1-4 missions more than just 10 per faction high sec low sec and 00 |

confirming that highsec is completely safe. especially in a hulk mining afk.

Lack of people, maybe.
But then you sit cloaked hoping that one person who isn't you leaves. And local balloons to 20. Yep, totally empty, that nullsec.

Clearly a flamebait aimed right for the carebears (99% of eve population). Trolls should be banned.

Agreed. You can make as much money ratting in .1 as you can on level 4 missions, let alone nullsec.
And as Stated in other threads and here, the nerf isn't bad.
This is clearly a signature. |

... wait... people nvr die in dead space plexs!!
nah people will just move off the lowsec lvl 4 missions to go do them in safer spots.. so more or less all ccp did was ruin lowsec for mission runner and pirates mission runners wont do them and just move to motsu or other extremely safe space.

There was no mission nerf.
What they did possibly took away a dynamic of mission running that made it slightly less... boring. That is my only issue with it. Missions were /drool enough, as in the only thing more boring was mining. We didn't really need "less stuff to do" in them.
But for the record, I only changed my sig because I was annoying myself with the last one.

It's people like you whose anomalies I like to bookmark, just to come back 5 minutes later to kill their ratting ships. Anomalies are less safe than asteroid belts.
So yes, there is quite a difference in being in a semi-instanced mission or an instance that everyone can access without special equipment.
Edit: And you should probably run a few level 4s, then tell me again how running anomalies is better than level 4s "in every way."

I don't think a 75% hit on decent loot drops is a minor nerf, I think its a monumental mistake. CCP has effectively made L4's unrewarding for lower SP players who can't blitz like madmen. They've made drone missions even more worthless, which I thought couldn't be done! None of this helps the game in any way. Missioners will start pirating or ratting 0.0, which will make it even LESS profitable due to competition. New players will be less likely to stay in when they can't make any solo money..that means less production, less stuff on market, even less victims for the pirates. Forcing miners into lowsec just so pirates have more hulks to gank is hardly a smart move on CCP's part. You will lose a ton of carebears this way, and eventually some of them who are hotshot programmers are gonna get together and make a game that humiliates this one. And CCP will have nobody to blame but itself.

Correct, blitzing is the absolute best way to maximize ISK/HR.
Originally by: Hyey My mission running alt will make maybe 500k less isk an hour...
Wait... what? 500k isk/hr?...
