I know suggestions are a dime a dozen, however, when this prints, it becomes really small.
If the chains could all have their own page and maybe rotated for an 8-1/2" x 11" or A4 perspective, it would be easier to add to the manual for Eve-Online I have which includes Halada's Mining Guide V3.1. See, you're famous now.

Wow! just what I have been looking for.
I can't hardly read it on 8.5 x 11, but I have access to a large format printer and printed them at 18" x 12".
Great job thanks! I was scribbling charts like this by hand. You just saved me a lot of work!

Quick question on the numbers
On the raw materials there is 3000 going in and 20 going out. But on the next level the number is 40 going in...
does this mean 20 of each material as in 20 + 20 or is it 40 of each material and thus 40+40?

40 units of each material. For the Biocells Schematic you need 40 units of Precious Metals and 40 units of Biofuels to produce 5 units of Biocells.

Great work!
But it also reveals something disturbing: each step of processing decreases the value of our goods.
For example: One sterile conduit is manufactured from six vaccines and smartfab units each. They in turn require 20 units of viral agent, livestock, miniature electronics and construction blocks each. On the fourth layer we have 160 biomass, bacteria, biofuel, protein, chiral structures, silicon and reactive and toxis metals. Each again. And that translates to 24,000 units of planktic colonies, micro organisms, carbon compounds, complex organisms, non-CS crystals, felsic magma and both basic and heavy metal. Assuming each raw material has a price of 1 isk per unit, that's 192,000 isk worth of raw materials. While one sterile conduit sells for 10,000 isk on the open market.
I calculated the whole thing with actual market prices and the raw materials have an even greater actual value of ~412,500 isk.
Or if we see it from another point of view: the top layer, the conduit, has a value of 10,000 isk. The second layer is around 1,200 isk. Yes, I got the comma right. Layers three to five are 22,600, 103,120 and ~192,000 isk.
I'd really like to show you some charts here.
Disturbing, isn't it?

While I understand you liking that one, I find that this one is a lot easier to read and understand, but thats just my view.

I just started on PI 2 days ago...still not much perfect practice in how to build efficiency....but im getting there ;)
Let me tell you, that I started PI because of you m8! That chart is simply perfect. Got to say you made a excellent work for all the community. My gratz to you and thank you alot for this. Its going to my lil corner of the desktop where I have all the icon tools for EVE.
