The drop in numbers was triggered by two corp thefts in short succession which forced me to tighten up certain rules and procedures, to apply a much stricter standard with regards to participation, resulting in the removal of a few non-participating employees, and to close our dedicated PvP-wing which in retrospect had not increased, but decreased the level of security in the corporation. The downward trend in membership and activity thereby induced was self-aggravating and caused a number of remaining members to leave due to a lack of perceived progress, which in turn finally made me suspend operations to focus on a few private in-game activities and the preparation of a re-launch. To finalize the re-launch, I removed all remaining members who had in the meantime cancelled their subscription in order not to fool prospective applicants about our actual size.
