Real life practical issue:
I have a issue, my computer due to unknown reasons has decided to give up the ghost, eve no matter what way i do it wont dowload or update, im sure other players have been in a similar situation before.
Bassically i had to fix my comp in a repair store becuase i suck at fixing comps myself (i dont think i could actually fix it anyhoo), it'll take 3-5 working days to repair.
My issue is, cant us players have acess to be able to change skills for unknown events like these, i know im not alone.
Justifuication: I pay monthly for 30days of game play, i should be able to acess my account, freeze my skill que in unforseen events as to not waste valuable training time (and money), or allow me to change skills, via eve gate or something.
p.s. the total time added up when my skill que has been empty (over the year) probably comes to about a month, with the ability to change or freeze my skills que wouldve saved me time/money due to the unforseen circumstances.

Not going to happen. CCP want you to log in to change skills.
Also, you pay for an account. Nothing more. -

CCP already said that changing skills from evegate is on the agenda. see the "CCP presents" video from the last fanfest.

I agree.. we should be able to set skills to train while offline... or atleast be able to log into the website and set skills... I'm Active Duty Military and when i have to deploy i usually have internet access but nothing that would allow me to access the game and it would be a nice feature so i could keep my toon training while i'm stuck out in the middle of nowhere for months... Hell i'm paying for 2 accounts... So if i just stop paying for it for the 6 months or more when i deploy thats money CCP is losing.. because if i don't thats a waste of my money.. and i'm not giving anyone else access to my accounts... Personally I think it would be in their best interest to allow us to set training via the website.

So after all this hub bub about stolen accounts, i hardly think its a good idea to let sum1 else have my account password.......
But to be fair, there are plenty of situations where be able to access the skill que out-of-game would be a very good idea.
I dont understand why CCP wont do this cuz "they want the ppl to play eve" i would be playing if and changing my skill que >>>>>>IF I COULD<<<<<<<<

I'm up for everything that doesn't include gameplay to be included in eve gate. Be it sorting your mail, changing your skills, and chatting with your friends. IIRC, CCP said they want that too, but I could be wrong.

The EULA is more so they can cover their asses in case something goes awry. They sure as hell won't care about a family member / friend covering their training. ___
