I thought CCP was going to decrease the size of the alloys and compounds and increase the drop amount on BS spawns while decreasing the overall value of BS loot.
Well, the sizes are still 1m3, which is the same as before. Loot amounts have changed, but the avg BS loot is worth what BC spawns of other factions are worth, but I see the extra low-ends there. I'm not gonna /cry over the significant drop in value, but I don't see the drop in size of the alloys/compounds just a drop in amounts.
Anyone else verified the end result of drone loot yet?

They did.
If you run the lvl 4 "Infiltrated Outposts" mission on TQ, you will notice that you get roughly 70% of the loot (volume wise) that you used to. (ie 800m3 versus 1.2k m3)
So, what they did is not reduce the volume of the loot item itself, but the amount of loot you get.

My understanding was that they were decreasing the amount of loot, but only slightly decreasing the value of the loot for BS spawns.
Actually it looks like the drop is more like 30 percent of what it was value-wise, but results in mineral composition in line with market demand.
This may seem ok for hisec markets, but if you rat or plex in the drone regions, you need to go elsewhere.
Plex loot value is not worth the time spent doing it, escalations are low-probability, low loot-value until you get to the end of a 5-mission chain and then the final loot is ok at best. There are only 3 types of plexes anyway, of which only one is worth the ammo--hierarchy.
Ratting in the belts is only worth 30 percent of what it pays in other regions.
Options for interesting gameplay in drone-regions are non-existent. Any trollers care to flame me for my /whine? Just wondering if anyone has noticed different...

think of it as an incentive to go attack someone to get some real space or alternatively go suckle at the teat of an alliance in good space.
