Snatch was chosen as a harder target to test our pilots, and to highlight weaknesses in our organisation Its routing out the weaklings and making us stronger overall so its doing its job

Originally by: Barrechor Loki, you sir are a cad and a bounder. I was referring to wartargets. Go and get your gay little Thrasher and your ganglinked alt shoving boosts up your rectum and see if you can catch pods on a gate... youll end up looking stupid. Personally I dont station camp, its lazy and boring, I'd rather get on a gate or go for a good roam.
You bore me, just like half of the whiners in here bore me.
Theres a hosepipe ban on in the UK atm. If only half of you crying ***s lived over here.... It wouldve been lifted already.
You Brits and your cute colloquialism's (take a second to Google it, I'm sure you need to). I'm going to assume you were making disparaging remarks about me. I'm soooo hurt
Considering your shining career "PVPing" (and in your case I use the term... loosely) it appears all you know how to do is:
FC "OK EVERYONE LOCK THE POD" "Gang of 10+" : "WE GOT IT" FC "NOW POINT IT" "Gang of 10+" : "WE GOT IT" FC "KEEL IT!!!!" "Gang of 10+" : "REPS SEND REPS... OH GOD, I'M IN HULL!! HELP MEEEE, IT'S FIGHTING BACK!!!" "Gang of 10+" : "RUN AWAY!!!"
\o/ 10+ people on a Pod, Pro m8 Pro. You might want to try something a little harder to kill, although you would prolly end up the KM then
Go do something impressive and try back mmmkay
Long live the Kids, may you keep me laughing for months more.

Edited by: biggestboobies on 25/07/2010 05:35:25 Edited by: biggestboobies on 25/07/2010 05:34:10 It is telling that the Orphanage cannot effectively squash a pvp alliance that is essentially, what, 1/5th its size. Now, it is not as though Snatch is hiding in stations or deep in 0.0. If that is not the case, which it is certainly is not, then what explains a Goliath of empire pvp like the 0rphanage being demolished by a David like Snatch?
First, not all the corporations in the 0rphange are awful. Project Nemesis is among the best merc corps in the game and relentless when it comes to killing hard to kill targets. Furthermore, select pilots in MBALM are superb, Rico Felix being one of them and Telshiah. Not to mention Helliot. These individuals are creative and driven at what they do. Others, like the Pit Boss and Viktor Vegas are sub par. The leader of an alliance flying a caracal to a fleet fight does not instill confidence in member pilots. And a sensor boosting, egomaniacal blow hard also does not make members feel squishy inside or bring out performance.
Now back to the central question: Why is a large empire pvp alliance having its a$# handed to it by an alliance with inferior numbers? I suggest to you that the answer to this question is found in the issue of quality. Now, there is quality in the 0rphange as I have said, but it is overpowered by rank mediocrity and noobishness. I would also add to this laziness. Sitting twenty ships on the Mad/Nia gate is a complete waste of resources and a mindless activity. It may garner some kills but not nurture skill in pilots.
The issue of quality is also directly related to a lack of good fleet commanders. I submit that there are less than five ôgoodö fleet commanders in the whole of the 0rphanage. On the other hand, Snatch certainly has more than five good fleet commanders in its roster and it shows in the statistics. Built into this lack of good leadership is an attitude among the 0rphanage of kill mail whoring. As stated before in this thread, there is no need for twenty people to be on a pod or a rookie ship. Finally, the largest corporation in the 0rphanage, MBALM, has an open-door recruitment policy, which means they take everyone from the best of the best to what one finds at the bottom of a barrel - brainless amoebas and used condoms. For example, it has been reported by anonymous sources that some members of MBALM ask on their alliance TS such whoppers as: ôIs it good to fit more than six sensor boosters on my ship?ö ôWhat does that red star mean?ö and the always comical, ôI canÆt understand why I couldnÆt dock. I stopped shooting. If you still have the guy pointed, you should be able to still dock, right?ö
To the best of my knowledge, Snatch has none of these problems and it shows in spades in the results, which are undisputable. If you have the isk, go with Snatch or even Solar Revenue Service, yet another example of the 0rphange not being able to curb stomp smaller but better organized and led opponents. I would add Everto Rex Regis to this list of quality. As it currently stands, the 0rphanage has some quality, principally in the form of the superb pilots of Project Nemesis. But the quality ends there and the mediocrity and stupidity begins and is endless.
Let the trolling begin!

Just had a look at the engagement you are talking about, all I can say is wow! But I would add that your comment on 'handling yourselves' is not really warranted when you are in a 40 man blob. Looks to me as if Snatch knowingly engaged the blob with less than half that number. That is impressive stuff and deserves respect.

as i said in the other thread, snatch engaged a 12 man bc gang with 8 ships, with 5 neutral logi pilots (mostly faction or tech 3 fit battleships and t3's)
The gang held as long as possible while we organised and got our asses in gear, the fight was 20 mins long which is why we ended up with 40 pilots, they didnt know we were a 40 man gang before they engaged us it was just due to the "zomg" faction and t3 gang tackled in mad call that we got backup called in
Was a great fight and i think snatch agree

From the damage taken on the Snatch ships that doesn't look to be the case. So my original assessment stands.

I think the scorp has 221k damage taken, if it was a 40 man blob from the outset he would of died with nothing like those numbers due to sheer incoming dps It was a long and drawn out battle with people being called in from all over eve to get in on it
THough once we got on the neutral logi pilots things got better

I know you dec people when paid, but FFS deccing a corp with about 200 <30 days old members it must be really hard to kill a rookie corp in your tengus and such.
but when you dec a low sec corp all you do is sit in high sec waiting for them to come up into high sec, I watched you 1 member on, WT enters system 4 neutrals log out and 4 members log in and gank the WT.
do you however by any chance also take payment to reverse a wardec? ie insurance against being wardecced by you and getting the people who ask for someone to be wardecced wardecced instead?
Trying to live beyond 30 days without being podded again.... |

It was indeed a great battle. We did infact have eyes on your entire fleet including the Prons fleet near uedama and the pilots in jita and ammar. We engaged because we had a large fleet and we thought it would be fun which it was. Props to orph for being able to field that many pilots. We had no doubt how that would end but there was a slim chance we could kill your first gang and then engage the second as they came in. We gave as good as we got and thats enouh for us. We look forward to future engaments.

Edited by: Frug on 25/07/2010 17:03:39 Was about 4 reppers helping us. I will take the fact that someone thinks we had 40 of them to be quite the compliment. Anyone who thinks we didn't know what we were getting into engaging orph right on the pipe is delusional. Some things could have been done better but in the end was probably doomed, especially on the ewar front as we had none.
Props to the guys in orph who were good sports. That's the kind of fighting we all love. Maybe it'll happen again sometime soon.
edit: being told the batphone was rung halfway through the fight to bring 2 more late arrival reps from an ally. - - - - - - - - - Do not use dotted lines - - - - - - If you think I'm awesome say BOOO BOOO!! - Ductoris Neat look what I found - Kreul Whisper/PrismX 4 emperor |

I turn your attention to our 86% accuracy against your terrible Alliance and ask that you stop running from us in Amarr and engage in some healthy combat. You severely out number us, don't let fear and the multiple members of yours that have turned to us to join because you suck hold you back. KB
No really. We have had 7 members from various failblobs of yours that have failed terribly against us & have noticed our 6-8man fleet take down their 20 man blobs; contact us directly after the fight for info on joining. You might want to get better quickly. If we were interested, we'd poach your alliance apart.
