Just did Damsel in distress outta dixie in my maelstrom.
took about 30 mins i dont salvage but i loot bs wrecks as im killing other stuff.
Dropped meta 4 target painter meta 4 arbalest cruise launcher. and two meta 4 large auto cannons.
Is this normal since patch?
If at first you dont succeed maybe you just SUCK!!!!!

Heh.
The loot is the same - its just way less crap. Nearly all the t0 modules were removed from the NPC loot - as a result you see a increase in t3-4 loot.

Did 4 L4 missions tonight; got 4 out of 4 drones & mercs missions. no meta 4 items in the loot, some meta 1, 2 & 3, but many meta 0, and no tags. Looked more like any regular missions before the expansion, excepted that all opponents were drones with less minerals.

There is not big difference before and after patch with missions in 0.9-0.8
The worst thing in Tyrannis is that L4 missions from 0.5-0.6 agents are in low-space. 0.5-0.6 Agents are useless now for Marauders and pimped Navy ships.
But you are able to risk by 1-2 billion ship for 6-7k LP mission if you want :))) Pirates will be very happy

Four arby cruise in a single mission? We call this "hitting a gold mine".
I've seen mostly a bunch of crap. I did get three large named autocannons from my last Damsel and that's about it.
But for the record, I only changed my sig because I was annoying myself with the last one.

In Damsel I did got 12 metal scraps that were before Tyrannis large guns/other large modules worth at least 800K in minerals. 1-2 named large gun.
You were very lucky.
The addition of metal scraps was done explicitly to keep the ration of dropped items as before Tyrannis, with the difference that you get scrapmetal instead most of the T1 meta 0 large modules.
Apparently some drop table has been changed too (lots of named AB/MDW) but that should be part of the regular updating of the loot tables.
