Hello.
Here I've got the standard fitting for Manticore in faction missions. I use this fitting all the time and haven't lost non one ship. but I have one problem. I can't do missions without partner. I mean I need one more person who will tank for me (usually it's frigate class ship). And I want to ask you an advice how to fit Manticore to do missions alone. Rolling EyesEmbarassed  
P.S. I must admit that Nemesis is much more better against Gallente federation than Manticore because of its damage type bonuses.

yes but I heard many times that people are doing faction mission alone without partner on covert ops. but still I can't understand how...

Small shield extender doesn't help, you'll need a medium to get any viable sort of EHP. Also, that 1mn will be difficult to get.
Never done FW so no idea on what to expect in those plexes, no use then to share a fitting.

Actually I use small shield extender II to extent time and run away if I was targeted by NPC-s. It gives me an extra shield and that's all. tanking is not my job... but I need to know the fitting for solo hunting on missions. :(
If no... I must find corporation which is doing Faction missions all the time. :(

At least if you fly for amarr you can't solo L4 missions in a sb. I suspect, people who claim this usually are out to complain about missions in one way or another and conveniently forget about the other ship that is necessary. Although It may be that if you fly for caldari or minmatar you can.

You can run Caldari in an SB alone, but its not that easy and really not efficient. They will sensor damp you to hell and gone and if you do get drawn too close they'll pop you or NOS your paper thin bomber out from under you. Meaning lots of reacquiring targets or warping away and back again if you get too close.
If you go in first with an alt and speed tank the agro with a frig or interceptor or whatever then it's a cake walk for the SB.

The Faction missions must be done fast and as quite as it's possible. Alone you need more time... and it's quite hard to control range from NPC-s and scanner, which must be controlled and rescanned in every 3-4 seconds...
...Yes quite hard thing to do. But anyway ... may be done.

Shield Booster. Medium Shield Extender. MWDs should work in those plexes ... consider investing in a Gistii B-Type 1MN MWD if you're feeling fancy (a lot less cap use!). That should be enough. You'll probably need to drop a BCS for an MAPC to fit it all though.

You can solo them in a bomber, but it's typically harder and more time consuming that just using a aggro alt.

man it will cost too much... and according your suggestion .... not enough POW. an extender with shield booster...
still mane problem stays powergrid. Impossible to use your suggested fitting.

Caldari FW Missions Manty:
High:
- 3x siege missile launchers tech2
- Cov Ops Cloaking device
Mid:
- 1mn afterburner tech 2 (dont use mwd, the signature radius increase WILL get u poped.
- Target painter named (phased paralel something, the one equivalent to tech 2, for cpu saving purpose)
- 2x sensor booster with range scripts to keep those target locked all the time even when dampened.
Low:
- 2x BCU tech 2
Ammo:
- Rage or faction juggernauts, and take some javelins with u 2. When u get offrange u want to keep shoting with those sensorboosters workin.
Rigs:
- 2x missile rigs for increased missile velocity
Flying:
- Manual flying to keep those transversal high and to stay away from beacon so u dont get surprised, and to keep in range and aproach target without loosing transversal. Try to do all that and stay aligned at the same time, of course it wont always be possible.

I used to run Gallente mission with Manticore, by fitting faction shield booster and capacitor booster. Then just going for long range torpedoes. Usually I could kite the target before any other ships does any serious damage.
It did the job, but it still was not a perfect fit.

too bad I can't use that fitting. anyway if I could it's quite hard to do missions alone.
