Hi,
while flying in the new eden space I found some bug and I will find some more. Because this I opened this thread. Here I will post all the bugs found by me and post it in a list.
If they are fixed i will delete them out of the list :)
Bugs:
- Client close without any notice. Only close, nothing happens after.
- Sometimes I fit an item it will be offline. When I will put it online, it says, its aready online. If I will use it, it says its offline. Restarting the client resolve the problem. Undock dont.
- Sometimes my client lose the connection to EvE server
Issues:
- The client uses to much ressources, my MBP get really hot
- Cant choose the screen, cant choose a higher resolution then the max resolution of my mainscreen
If you find some more bugs or something else, I will put it inside the list and watch for it :)

In addition to the 'close without notice" I regularly see two issues:
If I try to logoff (as opposed to quit) the client goes away.
When I do get a crash, the logger says it can't connect to the Transgaming server.

Bugs:
Stuck keys: Key commands sometimes behave as if modifier keys are held down, i.e., hit F1 to turn on a gun and your repper turns off.
Glitched dust clouds: Sometimes dust clouds have strange shapes or even letters in them. Sometimes they are totally black.

Switching from one Planet view to another WITH a command center in cargo crashes the client - done it 5 times to be sure its repeatable.

- Pull Down Menus in the In Game Web/Internet Browser don't function propperly.
- Audio Screws up when Jumping from system to system.
- Major FPS/Lag drops around planets and heavy LCO'd areas. (And yet I can play Half Life 2 at full blast with NO hesitation what so ever WTF?!!!)

Here's a new one - 50/50 Quitting EVE causes a FULL SYSTEM HANG requiring hard shutdown/restart.

What you describe sounds like a lockup of the interface, since I can forcequit EVE without any issues when it locks up after quitting, and I play it in a 1600x1000 window.

Try window mode CMD + Enter.
But your right, the client wont close every time. But in window mode you can force close it.

Having the same 50/50 crash on exit too.
But the most annoying thing right now is I'm also getting the "stuck" keys too. Shift and or ctrl seems to get stuck on if I use them too much.

Thanks for your posts.
Added the crash on quit and the keystuck (this i have mentioned by myself while targeting with ctrl).
And CCP look for this thread?

I get lock ups on quitting in full screen mode, but Ive found option-command-esc always forces eve to quit. I do not get the standard "force quit" window, eve just quits. If I'm in windowed mode and it locks on quitting, and I do the option-command-esc, then I DO get the standard force quit window.
So for me option-command-esc works well enough, the issue is I have to use it.
And none of this triggers the (non-functional) crash reporter.
Does anyone else get the "letters in the clouds" bug?
EDIT: ANOTHER BUG: saving and loading an overview setting does not work. It makes the xml file, but it will only import the first 2 overview settings described in that file.

"Enabling Audio" results in regular unexpected crash of client when combined with EVE Voice and "Join Corporate Channel on Login".
I experienced regular crashes when these options were enabled.

Confirming I have the following:
Client crash upon log-out EVERY time.
Crashreporter cant connect to transgaming.
Switching from one Planet view to another results in crashes; random.
Pull Down Menus in the In Game Web/Internet Browser don't function propperly.
Audio Screws up when Jumping from system to system.
Sometimes Eve crashes on quit and can only be closed with "Force quit" or "Activity monitor"

I will post about bugs for several reasons.
First in the hope, that CCP will see them and people, who dont send bug reports post here.
Second for the possible users who think about playing Eve on mac and like to know, how good the game works.
And fact is, it works, but not really good.

The problem is having bug reports spread across multiple threads (compare http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1325066) plus bugs.eveonline.com ... but that's a CCP management problem, not mine, so why do I reply at all?
