I just did it in my Megathron (6x 350mm, 2 cruise launchers) and boy was the first part tough  . They managed to kill all of my heavy drones all though I waited till I had all aggro before launching. Second and Third sections where a push over. I think it needs some balancing, because the last section should be the tough bit not the first. Oh and I managed to finish it with 5 minutes to spare even though I went back for ammo, and collected all the drone cans.

I have done this mission two times, both in an armor tanked Prophecy. Very easy, the last two stages anyway. 
The first run for this mission, as soon as I jumped in, I targeted and fired my pitiful Widowmaker loaded launcher at the tower sentries....BAD f'in idea. This got ALL of the drones fired up and they came my way. Somehow I survived and managed to beat them off and then kill them all.
The second run I did not fire on the sentries, and only four, maybe five of the drones attacked me. The rest, some 10 or more stayed by the small structure about 100km off. This made the mission unbelievably easy, and I was able to finish it in just about 50 minutes.
If someone else could try this or confirm this, that would be great.

lvl4 variant sounds the same, only there is a 77% resistant-to-all-damage dom i had to kill.. he took quite a while, but dropped TONS of nice alloys.

just tried the level 4 varient, took me 30mims to destroy one uber drone that wouldnt die, in the end i had to close then unleash my drones...
once it died i crawled to the gate befor deciding this mission was i pile of poo as the rats respawn after down time i couldnt be bothered wasting my time on it!
as for any tips on completing the mission just tell the agent to go **** herself! its not worth wasting ammo on this mission it really does suck! imho

I only found one of the drones a nuisance, the rest died to 1-3 torpedoes or my drones. Not harder than the 2nd wave in Pirate Extravaganca I'd say, and I'm not in any way specialized in combat.
Lots of nice alloy drops from the drones

lol yeah, u guys do that in BS , now imagine me orbiting that stupid Violator Drone in Ferox at 5km and sprayin him with Havocs and 2 med nosferatu.... took me like a half an hour just to kill that damn thing.....
I mean omg wtf bbq!!! CCP cut down on resistances and cap for NPC! Or at least put a nice bounty and named loot on that drone, so that it would be worth killing. I mean jeez heavy missles (i didnt try only scourges) do like 50-60 dmg to him and by the time next pack of 5 hit, he already repaired all damage.

Best way to take out the drones imo is with some heavies of your own. My 7 ogres made quick work of even the uber drones. Just make sure u get them firing at u first before u lauch your heavies.

i'd like to see yoru drones take care of the lvl 4 ones.
which include on the first stage drones like this. it was out tanking my apoc repping like 1000 armour a second.....

How did you have your Thorax set up? I have a Thorax too and I'm not even game to try the level 2 version of this mission... hehe, lost a Vexor to it, didnt want a repeat performance with my Thorax too...
