With the largest quantity of Crokite close to empire space, I can understand why they don't want intruders. As one of those who fought them since the beginning, I can truly say their ability to defend has increased to a very respectable level.

lol yeah i gott admit they are pretty good at defending, remember as soon you get in to 1 of there systems you have atleast 3 - 5 guys in local in a matter of minute hehe. |

Thats why JQA are tough...small area of space. I fought them for a little while in FU and once that call goes out they swarm in like angry bee's

Think on it this way your alliance has what no more then 8 systems they hold and your larger neighbors have not that many more members then you less then twice your numbers but they have ALOT of alts and inactive members but they have whole regions to defend. And the common rules you learn from fighting in Syndicate are seldom applied to defense in those alliances. I mean FU/CoD were getting pummled till they sandwhiched themselves into 5 systems during GNW,they had spread themselves WAY to thin and didn't have people used to fighting on a day to day basis,in Syndicate everyday is a fight so in that way you have a leg up on the majority of us.

The big advantage of JQA is that, as many said, they claim a small area, and that they're very comitted to it's defense, so they can badly outnumber most of thier foes.
However, since I lived in Syndicate until recently, I can tell you that without that number advantage, they'd be toasted by the local pirate alliance.
JQA members try to avoid anything even remotely looking like a fair fight, and I saw them fairly often losing fights where they had a 2:1 advantage.
In fact, the local pirates doesn't lose all that much ships, so long that they avoid the Big Blob.

Don't exactly agree with you there... JQA holds many good fighters which defend their terretory with great value and dignity and tbh I think your comments about us being bad fighters are unjust(bleh hope this doesn't bring a new flame war  )

Well i can say we clankillers and D.N.A and other corps with us have trained jqa well.
think of this JQA
what if you naped with clankillers and it allience members. (thats a big what if). could you think of the force that can be made to stop any thing and avery thing to steped into or spaces. or forces would make any allience shake in fear.

JQA has soom good fighters. don't get me rong but most are miners. but in the past 8 months i been around jqa i have only lost 4 b.ses to them i have countless b.s kills under my belt. a few from 1v1 fights. but i love the fleet battles when numbers are close to even. i really love the the ones where thay out number us a bit. and i know jqa loves us to. thay have fun coming to play as we like playing with them. and to me thats what makes this game fun.

Ok, we all know the truth dude. Its plain and simple, ya'll don't travel alone very much. And neither do we.
We bring 2, they bring 10, we bring 10, they bring 50 we bring 20, they bring 80 and call up the other alliance next door to help. Simple, they got the numbers, and they are learning how to pvp better as they go.
And yes there are couple skilled fighters in JQA. Though I've been dissapointed lately in some tactics they've been using. Not too stealthy at it yet. But they'll get there.
One thing I don't like, They have not formally done the alliance thing yet.

I must say thankyou gents. Most of the fighting in our area is gankage.We do not fight with even numbers or the pirates. They complain alot when they are out numbered and say nothing when they are 5 v 1 at a gate pwning a cruiser or BS.
The A.S.S. fleet the other day in pc9 got owned pretty hard tho. Too bad I missed that one.
Today was a good fight on you guys part also. Well done if I must say so. Your speed and agility to compensate new targets is admiring.
The biggest thing I miss out here are fleet battles to some degree. Pirates fight very differently than Curse Alliance does. Not much in the way of standing toe to toe and fighting.
Lastly, I do respect some of the local rats. They are good fighters and know their ships.

Well, its not that we complaining, its more like getting cut off, we know how to take out superiour numbers quite well. But sometimes when we are headed for the red dot with 4-10 ppl, that unfortunate cruiser unlcoaks at the gate. Same happens to us.
Only time we get annoyed is when we have about 2-5 ppl at home, and ya'll bring in 20+++ ppl in. That'll almost never get ya a fight.
Bout the ASS fleet in 3rd Front areaa, twas 6 vs 20 I believe. Props to ASS for hitting the red dot hard. Ya they lost some ships but I know they killed alot of 3F too.

lets not start smack m8, but lets get some facts right about the -ASS- fleet, we were 8 ships (6bs), JQA and 3rd Front allaince fleet were easy of 20+ (in my death mail there is 16 bs on me) and we fighted for a good 30 mins only to lose 3 bs and some support ships, and check yr loses lads because i my self got 8 kill mails, so it was not ownage it was a good fight nothing more.
think next time be4 u type plz 8vs 20+ and we still warped in to fight, u should be respecting us for giving you fight not smacking. i will not post anymore for to day. bye

I do respect that you would come back in and I know atleast that JQA side got loads of fun... To correct you a little though we didn't have 20 ships on the gate... But you were fewer and warped in bravely and I hope you guys had fun aswell... I don't believe you got any "big" ships though.
well ceptor's/cruisers and we got other 2 bs, they may not have been JQA bs but 3rd front were in fight remmber, so did u check what they lost. ok enough see u on the feild to night

Clankillers, as pirates i believe an apt describtion of them would be as a "pvp corp" So due to us not actually claiming or being a pvp corp, if we went against an actual pvp corp, it would be an uneven fight, if we brought the same numbers.
If JQA and USTA (what ever the syndicate pirate alliance now calls itself) were to have a mine-off, to see who could mine the most ore, you guys would complain it to be unfair if the numbers were even, as we are more of a mining alliance, than you guys are.

I know now that there are certainly less pirates around than when i joined, which perhaps goes to show we are doing something right.
Props is also deserved to DNA among others, who often engage us, and we can have good clean fights with, without the smack talk, EDIT: or don't dock when we have an equal/slightly larger force in the system, and in the interests of not bringing this to a flamefest, you will have to guess at who i'm aiming that at. I'm sure many of JQAs combat pilots will know who i mean.

As been stated above, yes, JQA do blob when we're attacked. Those who know me have heard this a hundred times, but you can take it once more:
Any incursion of JQA space is considered an act of war, thus, an invasion. When we move to repell invasions we do not meet up in "fair" numbers, as our goal is to kick the attackers back out, not to have a "fun fight". If anyone wants a fair/fun fight, contact us and ask if any of our fighters would like to come to fight you OUTSIDE our borders.
I'd also like to give a proper thanks to our local pirates who have made us what we are today. It's no secret that JQA seriously sucked in PvP at the start, but repeating attacks from our friendly pirate neighbours have teached us the art of PvP to a resonable degree. Respect also goes out to our extreme PvP pilots, Artharas, Nache1, Arboc... The list goes on for a long time, and I won't name all, as I'm certain to forget someone that way. But, bottom line is that we now have a good core of PvP pilots that do some outstanding work on the battlefield.

I will, on behalf of 3rd Front Alliance completely ignore the smacktalk in this thread, and even though Lady Beeblebrox was not so kind as to mention us, I have no doubt we have scrapped a few times, to the best of my memory with no smack talk from Teddybears, a corp that I respect, as well as DNA, who are damn good at what they do.
There are some people who, if I get into a fight with, I don't expect to make it out in a ship, but still look forward to. Teddybears and DNA are two such corporations.
Now, LFC will be recieving your applications at the very soonest, an we will subject you to our reforming program. Sadly we have no mining lasers anymore...decided to melt them for minerals to build ammo, but we are certain you are willing to do it with basic lasers ;)

Nilk and others with DNA, our local pirate corp have my upmost respect in many ways.Even chatting with them on TS was a bit fun. They are very mature for the most part and do not smack you every chance they get. I enjoy fighting DNA more than any other Rat corp in the area.

While I have enjoyed many of fights against the jqa forces in the past its kinda hard to gauge their actual improvemnts when it comes to pvp. I say this not to flame or whine. Its just hard to compare when you never get to fight them in semi or fair fight. I do give credit when its due as I have spoken to quite a few of them. Well at any rate I must agree that they have improved in some aspects, and I look forward to perhaps a few more "fair" fights.

The spirit of this post was not to say anything about their pvp. Its about respecting their efforts they do to protect their space. You dont get pvp from them becouse you want them to fight you with the numbers you bring. And when they dont _you_ do not pvp _them_

JQA behaves exactly like a "peaceful" alliance should. They spend time doing the things they like to do, but when threats appear they unite and gather for defense quickly. JQA has even been known to "patrol" portions of syndicate looking for pirates to kill. Their improvement brings a tear to the eye of a pirate that has spent almost his entire EVE-life in Syndicate. Because improved they have... in all areas that a pirate can observe.
Good luck to anyone that actually tries full-time pirating in JQA's space. Another thing, don't believe that all of their pilots are n00bish... some may surprise you.
