So i have two different size monitors. One is 1920 X 1080 and the other is 1400 X 900.
I open the client and it runs fine on the 1920 X 1080 and then i open a second client and want to run it in 1400 x 900. So i go into the options and change it and press apply and the menu inside the game says 1400 x 900 but the eve box is still the same size.
Im using an ATI Radeon 5830 with up to date drivers and all that lark.
Does anyone know what could be wrong??? If i run it fullscreen it works, but then i cant have both windows running fullscreen one for each monitor. I use the EVEmon resize thing too and that does nothing.
Ideas?

I run a 1400 x 900 and a 1024 x 768
Have you tried opening up two 1400 Clients and then Chanign the resolution down ?
I know it sounds daft but give it a shot :)

You need to have both clients set at your respective screen resolution for evemon relocator to work. Set your 1st client to 1920x1080 in windowed mode - relocate 1920x1080 to screen 1. Set your 2nd client to 1400x900 in windowed mode - relocate 1400x900 to screen 2.
I find it easier to setup the smaller screen first then do primary screen. Should work ok aslong as you've got the 2 screens identified in the ATi graphics settings. (catalyst iirc)

Yeah im trying to do that, but when i select 1400 x 900 and click apply the box wont change size. But the window size says its 1400, and its not.
Stuck :(

I have same problem and a NOW IGNORED petition still open. This is my petition with the work around:
I no longer have the option to set my 2nd monitor to it's native resolution, which is 1280x1024 in window mode. I only have 3 choices 1920x1200, 1920x1080, and 1680x1050 in the drop down box on the graphics and settings tab in ESC menu. If you use full screen mode all resolutions are there.
There is a work around where you have to set the res. in full screen mode, apply it, then change it back to windowed mode and close window without hitting apply or it will reset. The drawback is you can't use the ESC menu anymore or it will reset and you have to repeat the work around process over again.
I'm running dual monitors on dual NVidea 8800 ultra's in SLI mode. I have tried running seperate with same problem and never had a problem till last patch. I have tried different drivers. My main monitor is 1920x1200 and 2nd is 1280x1024
Use the work around and let evemon place it on the right monitor. Evemon relocater works better for me on automatic because of the windows taskbar. Just don't hit escape on your smaller monitor or you have to repeat the work around. Also log out on big monitor first then small one, and it will stay set when you log back next time.

Edited by: Exploding Tukey on 10/06/2010 20:18:00 Only workaround:
Copy the eve folder, make a second shortcut from the new folder.
When each client is run, the configuration is saved in each instance, so eve running from folder 1 will open with resolution 1 on screen 1 and eve client from folder 2 will run at resolution 2 on screen 2.
Then just run both shortcuts.
Enjoy.

I would like to try this as I am having random hard freezes running 2 accounts on 1 pc and I'm running out of options. I follow the guide in Win 7 steps but I can't create the junction because "access denied". I think it is because CCP folder has Read Only attributes and I can't remove it. I am logged in as administrator. Please help thanks. |
