There were some very nice Minmatar and "industrial" soundtracks in the downloadsection before the release. Where these "rockier" tracks droped in the release version? I can't find them in game any way, only the slow, calm ambient type of tunes.
Don't get me wrong, I like the music but a litle more variation (as in the pre release soundtracks) would be appreciated.

Yes, please waste some time on getting funkier music in-game...
Dude, pop in your "MTV's best underground" cd and listen to that, I think we need alot more serious things dealt with then new midi tunes...

Well, sure there are more important things to do. I was just curious as some more "diffrent" tracks are obviously already made (though all music has mysteriously vaniched from the download section) why they aren't in the game.

Well I would like to see the Juke box customizing program become available soon.
But chances arewith all the crap left that needs fixing, the juke box is on the DEAD BOTTOM of the list.
Oh well, heres one vote for the juke box playlist editor to come along before august... I am dying to hear David Bowie belting out Major Tom... Or Gary Numan or VNV nation or something...
Oh well... I suppose it will be like EQ, EQ had a similar promise a LONG time before it finaly came. And even that kinda sucked...
Galaxion > If you drove a car shaped like a thorax women would call you Demangel > Dude... I would call.. Demangel > wait that sounded g@y I bet. Galaxion > Just a bit.

Point your browser to www.eve-i.com and download a program called exSTUFF Explorer. This program will enable you to decompress the .stuff files found in your EVE directory, the file in particular that you would be looking for is resMusic.stuff . Here you will find all the game music in the ogg format as well as the hidden tracks for each of the races as the EVE_Rock music files =). I would have to say that the hidden tracks sound better then the offical music in my opinion, however it would be funny to have CCP change the games play-list to include the hidden tracks. The player would be there mining and relacing, listining to the games calming new-age music only to have EVE_Rock_03.ogg thrown at them. =p
