AK As I understand it, bypassing DVD region codes was legalized in New Zealand because the courts determined that DVD region codes placed an 'unreasonable restriction' on the use of DVDs. In essence, they said that manufacturers of DVD players were enacting a form of censorship by deciding who would be able to view which DVDs on their systems. The courts acknowledged that companies have a right to protect their product, and refused to rule on the legality of the codes themselves, but they agreed that a person should otherwise have the right to enjoy their personal property as they wish within reasonable legal limits.

HD & 4K Old Hat HD = 1920 x 1024 4K = 3640 x 2160 (Ultra HD) They are showing the 2012 Olympics in 'Super-Ultra HD' also know as 8K (7680 x 4320) that is 16 times the quality of HD television. using the NHK native Super Ultra HD cameras BBC Technology - Olympic Games coverage: HD, robotic cameras and 3D Pity the Olympics is only about Corporate Sponsorship Greed & forcing the UK to put drug cheats back into the team!
