Heavy Assault Cruisers > Assault Frigates
Recon Ships > Electronic Attack Frigates
Heavy Interdictors > Interdictors
Logistics > ???
Currently there is only one class of logistic ships- Cruiser based hulls.
How about making a new class of logistics ship off Frigate hulls?
While these light logistics do not posess the repping abilities of their counterparts, they are much more maneuverable, and therefore much harder to kill with larger ships.
Pretty much what an Assault Frigate is to a HAC.
They probably be based off the Teir 1 Frigate hulls, considering that logis are based off tier 1 cruiser hulls.
Just a random idea, but I would really like to see these, it would make small T2 frigate gangs much more deadly + harder to kill (And frigates need love)

there are already t1 versions of logistics. you can get an osprey and fit two large transfer arrays. or an exqueror with 2 large armors. or a augoror with 2 large energy transfers. works well enough and good for low sp pilots that want to try logistics without tucking away 20-30 days for cruiser 5.
i dont see how logistics frigates could do anything worth while.
t3 command frigate would be much more useful imo.

He's not asking for a ****ty version of existing logistics, he's asking for a Frigate-sized Logistics ship.
I'll support it, it could do well for gangs that need to move even faster than a cruiser fleet, or perhaps having logistics that can keep up with your interceptors (nevermind that their ridiculous range usually means keeping up isn't much of an issue).
I'm not sure if this could be done with frigates, though- Might need to use Destroyers for such a purpose.

wait for T3 frigates, especially now that CCP confirms them time and again...
it will probably be worth the wait

Thread makes no sense.
You're comparing cruisers to frigates, then cruisers to destroyers.
How would you go about comparing a titan to a dreadnaught? And why would anyone feel the need for some poorly designed and underused ship class?

Yeah this goes with one of the promises CCP broke about something they were gonna add with Dominion/tyr. They were gonna increase the range of frig and cruiser RRs to the point of them being useful while in a combat situation. One of the broken promises most of the player base seems to have forgotten about. *shrug, oh well. But yeah, supported.
