Semor	Posted - 2004.12.12 02:28:00 - [5] AF are t2 ships mean thy are mach more powerfull compering 2 any kind of frig or distr' ships. but u need very high skills 2 make that happend i use AF wolf and Jaguar in pvp and its work great 4 me.

agentsmitty	Posted - 2004.12.12 07:58:00 - [7] i attacked a celes crow and thrasher with my retribution, just after the thrasgher went down, a harpy warped in, i took him out and podded the pilot, the crow warped, they aint bad.

Only problem is, missles will ruin your day. Lost my jaguar yesterday to an amarrian heavy assault ship, but i don't feel too bad cause I got him into armor at least . The real problem is ravens, if your assault frig is near a raven, there's a pretty good chance you are gonna die(contrary to tomb's rediculous post a while back saying he could use them in any fight...). I hear some of the other ships can tank that kind of damage, but the minmater ones certainly can't.

Vengeance is a very nice ship, and a beauty to behold. It has enough (edit: med)slots to be effective even without MWD (note that Assault ships are extremely heavy and ineffective in using MWDs). It does lack firepower, but is more than capable of tanking even high-end cruser's damage. Edit: Thanks! I must've been thinking of something else. Yes, it's supposed to read medium slots, and not low slots -- If TC causes you discomfort that you feel is unwarranted or may be outside TC's current contract - contact me, please.

Depends if the Raven pilot shoots Paradise cruise at you and then you can survive for AGES in a Wolf Trust me on this In fact my Wolf can take one volley of any type of Cruise missles but thats besides the point, Missles > Assault frigs. My best experience in a Wolf was chasing a CA Stabber from planet to planet (4 in total) only to see him keep warping. I said in local 'Come on dude Im only a frig , fight me' and he said not with all my corp mates in local so I said 'I'll kill you on my own' so next planet he decided to shut me up ...he died pretty quick. Also solo'd Caracals and many other 'Anti Frig' Cruisers in an Assault frig and also one Blackbird who thought he was cool using pre patch fitting of Cruise missles .....shame those cruise missles were Paradise also Assault frigs ROCK !!! So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.
