So i saw an ad that DarkStar 1 was recruiting haulers as part of GoonSwarms logistical backbone.
the recruiter was called DraconicBlade.
I hadn't had many contracts in a while so i was stupid and rash in my actions.
I said that i had previously been a member of COW and asked wether that was a problem. He said it was and a secuirity deposit would be needed.
He then said later on that he wouls haul my Fenir down to XX9 and set me to blue.
I sent him my Fenir, and made my way down here. When i got down there I found i wasnt set blue.
This is the convo that followed. They have both blocked me and will not respond in local. The website linked is a very active malware site, don't visit it.

Lol if you had bothered to do even the littlest bit of research u would have known that only one member of goonswarm or goonswarm federation is able to do recruiting, and also in the goonswarm website says in big words if u gave isk to join YOU WERE SCAMMED.Next time research any and all alliances u want to join.

If you can prove to a CCP Representative that they sent you a link linking to a site with a virus intentionally, they will be banned.
If you send them information that they scammed you, the CCP rep won't do anything as that is within the ToS.
Repeat: Scamming is fine, linking to a virus is NOT ok according to the ToS. The person who sent that link will be banned if you can prove it.

What they did was mean, but five minutes of research would've prevented you from falling prey. If you don't think five minutes of research is a good idea before handing over a Fenrir as a "security deposit" then no one is going to want you anywhere near their assets.
The next time you need to post something this embarrassing, I recommend posting it on an alt (one you subsequently delete) and editing out your name in the chat log, so that recruiters who run across the post don't pull out a pencil and write your name down on their black-list.

You shouldn't have done that even if you've actually joined the corp, until later when you know they (or someone in the corp) can be trusted with 800 mil isk.
