never heard of this until i saw it on mmorpg.com.
is this just another pop culture turned crap game, or will it be something epic?

I predict it'll be as successful as all other mmos released within the last few years (ie: massive failure)

You're comparing apples and oranges.
It's to be a browser game, and will see moderate success in it's market, like most persistant browser games that aren't worse than the others. They're all kind of the same though.

trailer had almost a nexus feel, especally when they zoomed out.
Other than that, I dont particularly think MMO-BSG has any merit

Originality gives you longevity - not putting a well known tv show into the MMO blender and hoping that it gives you a smoothie which everyone will like the taste of.

Epic trailer imo. But until it really comes out we can just hope that it'll be at least cool to kill time. Most movies that became mmos weren't even the least interesting.

Would be nice to have a smiple massiave dogfighting game, 16v16 or more.
have the BSG fight each other, while the fighters are suppsoed to intercept nukes nad kill cylons.
