Okay, as you've probibly all heard rumors from asshats in alliance opening there mouths when they shouldn't be.

Opticon has a few options and I want all of your opinions and what you would do in each case. (Join dark-angels, leave the angels all together, go screaming off a cliff, etc)

History: Northern Coalition is here to support CVA.á 500+ capital ships staged in misaba.á CVA also has Pandemic Legion on the payroll for support AND Atlas has just joined NC and is in striking position of Providence (hell they HAVE SPACE in providence).
Now Southern Coalition has collapsed.á IT left, Atlas left, that leave Coven, Stain and -A-.á Providence has not stabilized yet and does not have the apparant numbers to hold off what NC has brought down for long.
Point: CVA is likely going to retake providence without something amazing happening.

Now when they do, Opticon has a few options.
1) Fight until we can't fight any longer then evac to our lowsec space in Derelik.á If this happens the angels will stay and fight, while Dark-Angels remain in genesis to make isk and replacement ships, and when we evac to Derelik we go back to making isk as a whole with the mass amounts of l4 q20 agents, moon mining, decent lowsec mining AND we can raid into providence to kill people to our content.á If SC retakes provi again we can move back.

2) CVA might buy q-6 pocket from Opticon.á Make a ton of isk, Opticon moves to Derelik without a fight.á Downside, we just burn every bridge with SC and UK.á I can guarantee they would not like us any longer for that, plus we are still red to CVA.á Not much difference from the above except less up front dying, and UK might slap us around off and on in Derelik as they have equipment out there as well.á If SC retakes provi again, we are SOL.

3) CVA has expressed interest in making Opticon a holder and keeping the q-6 pocket.á Opticon submits to CVA rule, we go NRDS, we start using phrases like "AMARR VICTOR" after we kill people and when we write alliance mails.á UK hates us with a passion.á On a side note, a conversation with Aralis (CVA Executor), he apologized for the treatment of past holders as it happened in the period that Lonewolf was executor, and Aralis has been working to restore the relationship to what it used to be (which wasn't that bad).á But we are still a meat shield for CVA, essentially a pet that doesn't need to pay rent and can make upgrade decisions and policys for there own space as long as it doesn't conflict with CVA mandate.á If SC retakes providence, we are screwed.

The directors and myself know what we want to do as a corp in each case.á Now I want your opinions to what we should do in each case.á And by the way, all options are on the table.á Up to and including possibility of leaving Opticon depending on your feedback and how Opticon handles itself and which options it takes.á So do not hold anything back on your opinions and feedback.á I want it, honest, unbiased, and all of it.

There is nothing more predictable than butt hurt from 'good fights' leading to someone trying to find a reason to go to (sov)war.
