I've created an alt for mission running as a steady income for when I screw up with my main. I'm wondering how long it would take to train up the required skills to be able to properly run missions (up to lvl 4). And with that; what race/ships to go for. I know the standard is kestrel - caracal - drake - raven. But is this really the fastest path to train? The Raven is pretty intensive on support skills to be worth anything, but I guess the other battleships are as well.
The best I got so far for the raven is about 40 days for a semi-T2 fit + maybe 20 days for basic support skills. Although I'm not sure how well this is going to cut it in lvl4s. That's 60 days in total (with +3 implants). Ideas? Better plans?
I only have one account so I have to pause training my main. That's why I want to train this alt as fast as possible, but still be able to do lvl4s.

Drake > Raven really is your best option.
Learning/Adv Learning to 4/4
Cybernetics to 4 (You really want +4 implants)
Engineering & Electronics to 4
Then it's just a case of focusing on Engineering and Missile Skills. Shield Management, Operation, Upgrades, Compensation and Tactical Manipulation all to 4 gets you a decent T2 Tank. Cruise missiles are quick to skill into with support skills at 3/4. You'll want Weapon Uprades to 4 to use T2 Ballistic Controls and Cap skills to at least level 4.
You can start running Level 4s within 8 weeks, after which it's a case of notching up support and fititng skills before getting T2 Drones (very helpful for taking out mission frigs) followed by T2 missiles. Have run raking in the ISK 
Edit: Target Painting for obvious reasons and ofc some Social skills to maximize earning. Also worth mentioning that if you throw in some Heavy Missile skills and Energy Grid Upgrades IV you'll be blitzing Level 3s in a Drake within a few weeks.

IIRC, you can get a Sentry Domi mission runner into level 4s in 14 days with attribute implants. It will be slow to do missions (t1 sentries) and you might need to warp out on or cancel the harder ones, but you'll be getting level 4 income as your improve your drone/tank/fitting skills.
Long term, the Caracal/Drake/Raven route is probably easier.
