This is wonderful thank you.
It wouldn't work on a webserver when I tested it out. Appears in Linux the page is calling "EVE-EXODUS_Skilltree_vml_1.emz" instead of "EVE-EXODUS_Skilltree_vml_1.EMZ" which is case sensitive on some web servers. Simply copying or renaming the file works great.
Thank you.

Could you post a JPG or gif that would be printable.
I tried the JPG in the download and all the text always displays as xxxxxxxx where text should be located.
I am currently using the castor one posted some time ago. I have it printed in color on three 11"x17" on the wall, it is very helpful.
The web one you have produced is very nice, I cannot use it while playing the game. I would like to be able to print your updated version.
If there is a way to do this other than print screen sections i am all ears. TotensBurntCorpse Likes EVE, Starfleet Command Series, Earth & Beyond, Anything Battlefield, MOHAA, Call of Duty.
Dislikes Not much. |

Firefox just came out with a security patch. Apparently they're not as secure as once thought.

I can try to produce such a jpeg, cmyk yup.
For mozilla vs ie. Let me explain. I'm producing professional websites, so I'm used to find compromises between client plateform. As web surfer, I use mostly Mozilla firefox, for various reasons, including security but above all some really better features than ie.
What I meant about windows and internet explorer is that this skilltree was produced with a M$ tool called visio 2k3. I tries to adapt the (x)html exported thing to mozilla but I failed. If someone wants to try himself to that, u're welcome, GNU license I choosed require me to make my sources available, just ask. But since I don't have much time and that activities on/for eve is not a way to make money, I don't give a f*** about the thing being mozilla compliant, even if I really like firefox.
See what I mean ? Now, since this thing is a downloadable package and that you can execute locally, offline or whatever exotic way you choose, I can certify that you can run it under MSIE without any MASTER SECURITY BREACH onboard : p
See you for that jpeg

You can send me the xhtml and I can see if I can do a clean up of it and make it work in firefox. I make no promises but will give it a try. My email is [email protected]
Sometimes I get lucky and make things work good. lol
These are just my views and they could be wrong.....often wrong if you listen to my wife. |

What I told is stupid. The only sources I can provide is a .VSD from my work on Visio 2k3. The XML code and things for now probably only microsoft compliant are included in the archive you can already download.

Don't assume every Mozilla or Konqueror or Linux users are hackers : PppPpPpp
A lot of people knows where windows or ie security holes are lying, and most of them aren't hackers though : p

I don't trust IE even for opening images offline. For why, I point you to:
this security bulletin.
Summery: A version of IE 6 with SP 1 had a buffer overflow security hole that allowed a malliciously formed image to infect the computer of anyone opening said image with said version of IE with a virus, if so desired.
I'll probably download it sometime, but it won't be in Internet Explorer. Maybe The GIMP will read it if FireFox does not.

Guy, feel free not to refer to my work. Feel free not to have to also.
Personally I just don't care. I'm just providing a simple tool for those who wants it or need it and don't give a damn if some of you keep their paranoid tendancies alive, right to do so or wrong. I d'ont give a damn also about the internet (bad) experiences of these ones.
I enjoyed setting this up. I couldn't make better, remember it's a free thing, nothing to help me eat tonight, and that's all.
Now if you feel not concerned by this small thing I provide, simply go on your visit out of this topic, it's simple.

Eeesh, who ****ed in your coffee? I'm simply attempting to explain a position of many users of alternate browsers, and why "you can use IE" just dosn't cut the mustard. I've kept my system virus, spyware, and trojan free by a simple, healthy dose of paranoia.
Now, not to insinuate, as I do honestly believe this is probably an honest utility, but consider for a moment my position. I do not know you, you are a total stranger to me. Say I was in your shoes, with hostile intent, it might take a few hours (after a few weeks of research as creating trojans is not an area of specialization I'm exactly vested in) to create an image that would, say, steal the passwords of the posters in this forum - and thus the passwords to EVE accounts, possibly netting many billion ISK for me to dip my hands into. For maximum effect, I'd want to force anyone viewing it to use Internet Explorer. Package it up in a nice HTML file and make it hiddenly loaded, and viola, I have the passwords of a good deal of the EVE playerbase. Should I make an exception just for you? Why not everyone else if so? Going by that logic, I'd be like most of my friends - spyware, adware, virus, and trojan ridden with hijacked homepage and searchpage - even after security patches and greater-than-default security settings.
Now, back to subject:
Should I get around to downloading it, I'd like to create a mozilla friendly version of said skill tree, and with your permission release it here. I promise nothing, being an inexorably lazy bastard, but from designing and running my own website I'm quite certain I'm capable of it.
Sincerely, -- Panda

I think you misunderstood me or I didn't explain myself correctly (english's not my mother language).
Any security measure you take on your computer is at your own evaluation of risk and I won't say you're wrong the security of your system.
I just said, I just don't care about what people can think about the possible security breachs inside the package I provide.
I'm glad to read you will provide another version of this to be more compliant than mine, and I would be glad to share my Visio sources with you if you need them.

Ahh, aparently so, sorry, my bad.
Using "I don't give a damn" so many times made me think you were getting peeved/offended. Most of the time when I hear that, people are getting peeved/offended :).
Again, no promises (being as lazy as I am) but I'll take a peek soon.
Again, sorry :).

I would down load it now but i am at work and we one those peope who read message boards about possible hacks and starts crying because there is a .00000002 % chance we might get a virus and locks every thing up tighter then his puckered butt.
