In case it's not clear, "the button" should only show up if you're on a CC payment plan, as all "cancel subscription" does is to stop recurring payments to your CC. It would be pointless to have that option for non-recurring payment methods, as it would do absolutely nothing, since you can't "pause" your subscription to resume later. The cancel option will only show for accounts with a recurring payment method, such as a credit card. Other account types, such as those run using ETCs, will not have a cancel option due to the account having a preset deactivation date. For example, if I reactivate an account today by using a 60 day ETC the account would run until Sunday, August 15, 2010 and then go inactive if no additional time is added. The account will not have the cancel option since it's already set to go inactive again on August 15th. If I'd reactivate using a credit card, 30 days from now it would renew for 14.95, adding 30 more days of play time. It would continue to do so until I cancel the subscription. The option to cancel a recurring payment method is listed on the account management page as shown here: http://support.eveonline.com/Pages/KB/Article.aspx?id=61 If you'd have a recurring subscription that isn't canceling properly, we can assist you in deactivating the account by filing a petition.
