I've tried looking it up but the only info i found was from 2007 or even before that, so i would like to know which faction is the underdog today? Thanks in advance. :)

Certain ships are prefered for certain reasons, like missile boats and lasers popular for killing certain NPCs where as Minmatar and Gallente don't really have uber ships but do have versatility (armor/shield/drones) or that guns are prefered over missiles in most PVP with amarr for long optimal and minmatar for their capless autocannon boats where as caldari limited to a few with optimal bonus unless you fly a drake brick tank for baiting. there are exceptions though, so I could be wrong.

I afterwards rolled amarr, because althought they dont look as fancy, there's an understated elegance. I was amarr before it was popular.

The OP asked for the faction that's least played, not the ships - well this is the answer :) @OP: The reason why there's so many Caldari is because "in the old days" they used to get the best starter attributes (you didn't start 8 8 7 8 8 regardless race like now). An Caldari is still regarded as having the best/easiest PvE ships.
