*sigh* It's just a new edition of the killer nic, which only reduces pings because it bypassed the tcp stack in windows which is set up for data transfer rather than data speed. Adjusting the tcp stack in windows will give you almost identical gains for zero pennies.
The only people who actually benefit from these are people on long lines in paces where the isp does a lot of retransmission. That limits it to a very small customer base (excluding those with disposable income and a pc passion). If you're one of those people in the channel islands with a 120ms uk ping then this will do wonders for you, other wise you just need a spare 100 for minimal gains.
Oh and eve uses TCP for accuracy, so this will do nothing for it.

I live in the Channel Islands, had a 140ms ping to the UK, got one of these, went to about 40, GREAT SUCCESS
