Since the new use of planets lag has tripped (for me anyway) don't get me wrong I have tried the new planet stuff myself but I feel there is a less leggy way to introduce the new building materials into the game that does not kill the real reason for playing eve, PVP!
Example a person flips my can but I had to wait well over 20 seconds (and my corp mates had this to) to see him flash by that time he got away, post patch his arse would be sitting in a pod this is only but one example where the new stuff has stopped me pvping or in one or two case's I've had to log off.
I love new content and even though I don't really do any industrial stuff I think it's cool for the "care bears" to get new stuff, but to have this at the expense of good pvp is not right.

The other day, my dog barked right as my favorite show came on. Unfortunately, as I was on my way out the door, I had to miss that episode.
I've been trying to get him to bark ever since, so that episode would come on again, but no luck so far.

I don't really get your post. Are you saying PI has put in game breaking lag into your PVP? Because it hasn't put it any, all PI (across the universe) is done on a different server.

And PI does lag nodes/systems how, exactly?

Actually, I noticed this last night...
If you manage your planets on one account (starting extractors etc), then hit escape and log off, then log on your second account, the interface goes straight to hell. Everything is sluggish and laggy and very unresponsive. If you completely quit EVE after managing your planets on one account then start EVE up and log in to your second account everything is fine...seems like there's a big old memory leak in the planet interface.

Let me play devils advocate here:
Why should not CCP ban PvP Blobfare? 1000 people fighting eachother in the same system ruins the game for everyone else on the same node. its not fair that CCP allows this disruption to my gameplay, who is after all trying to mine in peace in Jita system. I am a paying customer too! And I want to play the game!
