Originally by: Hygelac Respect to VIRII, we had some great fights against you guys.
And my kudos to Frick and especially Hygelac. One of the most exciting days in Eve was when I did run an Iteron II from Amarr via Nonni and Torrinos to Fade. You FRICK guys were following me around for 6 jumps and then to three or four celestial objects in a particular system. I think was webbed and scrambled three times and down to 26% armor in the end. I only made it because of the fitted cloak and on the last jump I had jumped to 40km instead of 15km.
I was actually doing a sigh of relief when I finally jumped into 0.0 space.
Also kudos to BOB/DIE/NM for teaching us a few tricks about PVP. I enjoyed the fights immensely and surely will be back for more.

I have to give a big round of applause to V I R I I as well for standing up and bringing the fight to US. It was a real shocker those times when you really came out of nowhere and almost wtfpnwed us. I almost wet my pants when you jumped me after I had podded a FU member that didn't belong in your corp. Had no forewarning you'd be there so quick to revenge his clones death.
But the favourite kill in this entire war must be poor dinorryox from EVE Global Alliance. Abraham Azadian chased him for two systems and called for backup since his frigate wouldn't dent the Cyclone that dinorryox piloted. So I took off and tried to catch up with them two which were 4 jumps ahead of me. The distance shrunk to 3 jumps, then 2 jumps, at 1 jump Abe lost him temporarily but somehow we managed to get into the one system that dinorryox had jumped into. Back on track and we kept chasing him for another five jumps or so before we tried to engage him.
Guns blazing, scramblers and webbers locked and engaged at the Cyclone. All in vain since his autopilot kept steering and made him jump with a big dent in his armor. At that time we realized that our firepower was to weak to kill off the Cyclone and hailed for Velsharoons help as well. He resumed the chase and closed the distance to us in a slow pace in mine and Abrahams view.
At each jumpinpoint we tried to lock dinorryox and scramble him but we were always out of range for our Warp Scramblers. Eventually after a whopping 20 jumps from our starting system (which was Nonni by the way) we jumped ahead and waited eagerly for him to decloak.
We waited for a minute, two minutes went and we were wondering what really had happened on his side. Did he all of a sudden resume control over his ship and shutdown autopilot? Had he warped in another direction so we had wasted 20 jumps chasing a ghost?
We were screaming out loud in happiness when we noticed the warpgate activating ... waiting and were triggerhappy as ever one can be. Then out of nowhere a red flashing icon appeared on our scanners and we jumped into frenzy. We quickly closed in on him in our speedy ships suited for speed and not for dealing out damage.
Locked target. Activated warp scramblers and a webber on the Cyclone. Engaged all available turrets and missile launchers until the proximity of dinorryox ship were filled with blazing salvoes and missiles. At that point I noticed he had my locked and had a volley of heavy missiles going in my direction as well as some medium projectiles but they all missed. When my ship started hovering in all directions from the missile impacts I noticed in the corner of my eye that another Moa had closed in on us and had engaged the Cyclone.
It was Velsharoon that in the end had caught up with us after a lenghty journey of 18 jumps with only one aim - to feel the frozen corpse of dinorryox. Quickly I sharpened my senses again and activated my second afterburner yet again to orbit dinorryox Cyclone in such a high speed that his projectiles wouldn't hit me. My tactic was quite successful since the only thing he had that hit was his heavy missiles and by the time he had lowered my shields to 50% me and Abraham had killed off his ship. Abrahams Incursus was fitted with every Knife fighters favourite weapon - Light Ion Blasters - and together with mine and the two heavy launchers I had we tore his Cyclone apart really fast once he was stuck with us.
Velsharoon didn't do any damage to the Cyclone, so quick were dinorryox death but he were immobilized by our tripled effort to scramble him. Unfortunately non of us had a ship that could lock onto a small target fast enough, so dinorryox could escape in his pod to nearest planet. I pursued chasing him and we jumped back and forth in the season for some minutes until I eventually lost track of him. Me and my mates Abraham and Velsharoon valiantly guarded the gates for a while until we were content with the kill of his valuable Cyclone and headed back up to Nonni to pursue other targets.
(Sorry for being so windy but it was a pure PLEASURE to actually see the ship go up in a big bang.)
