Then why aren't you a member of the largest EVE Online group on Steam?
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/eve
Join and play Steam-powered games with other EVE Online players and fans. 1,627 members at the time of writing this, and it only continues to go up.
Would appreciate any help in trying to start events and what not, if anyone's interested in taking up the role.

I used to play Eve with the overlay butthat stopped working for some reason :\
Made life so much easier for me, esp with people messaging all the time.

Only works in fullscreen, and you have to launch it via the Steam menu.

Eh? The Steam overlay doesn't work if you're not running in fullscreen. If you force it via means that aren't supported, you're opening up a ton of possible BSOD's for yourself.

I'm playing Eve-O windowed with steam overlay, dunno why yours don't work.

When I do play eve via steam - always windowed - the overlay works fine.

joined...is there some way of putting the eve client in the steam folder, don't have the bandwidth to DL it again

1) Right click Steam.
2) Open game Library.
3) Click "+ Add A Game" button.
4) Add a Non-Steam Game.
5) Browse/Add EVE.
6) Right click on new Library entry and set name to "EVE Online".
7) ???
8) Profit.
