And no mentions of lag making them unplayable, no mention of poor hamsters starting to cough up blood. They even mentioned 6NJ fight indirectly. This is ridiculous, only thing I can think of is that CCP told people to not mention it at any circumstances.

Did you not hear Darius refer to it? He didn't say "hamster" or "lag" but he did talk about how CCP needs to work more on the things that let large fleet fights occur -- ergo capacity, latency, and all the other things that go with that.
But keep your tinfoil hat equipped if you think it looks good on you.

this is clearly a case of ccp simply not knowing there is lag on the servers when 1000 people are on the same grid.
this issue has never been brought forward before, not once in the entire history of eve. due to your dissertation today about how they are ignorant to their own servers, they will surely fix the problem by downtime tomorrow.

Guys to be fair they were talking about future expansions (they didn't say which) should be helping CCP to control such situations as large fleet fights, and we've got to remember... there isn't many (none that I can think of) that have so many players on a single server or even on a cluster most cap at a couple of hundred or a thousand let alone 2 3 or 6k fleet fights.
Eve does remarkably well holding up... if you don't like the lag and don't have patience... don't play fleet warefare, there are plenty of willing people to do it. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

You obviously missed the part where they were talking about the fact that they have a new program they run on singularity where they can input thin clients into the game, to test large session changes and work on improving large fleet battles without having to try and get players to move from TQ over for tests.
CCP knows about the lag. Anyone who thinks that they dont care or dont realise that there is lag, is a complete moron and just trolling for attention.

CCP has ALWAYS tried to improve the lag in high traffic areas. Its getting better and better. The fact remains that there are some fleet battles that involve more players then single shard severs can have online at any given time(WoW coming to mind). They fact that you are posting on the 20th and this dev blog on the 16th means you should probably spend a little less time crying in a forum(incorrect one I might add) and read the news every now and again.

You obviously missed the part where they had fixed the vast majority of lag, and fleet fights were playable, and then they wtfbroke it again in Dominion, and then released another huge expansion with pi and new ship models and hurfblurf and exactly 0 improvement on the biggest problem issue in the game.
CCP knows about the lag. Anyone who thinks they are putting their full effort and attention into fixing it (especially given the fact that they ALREADY DID ONCE), is a complete moron and just... ahm... well you get the point.
