Just out of pure curiosity following a debate in our corp chat, is there anywhere a timeline of the various expansions for eve (so showing when each expansion and its name was released, together with the more significant patches) - ideally with links to the release notes for the expansion...
Would be good way to see how eve has evolved (devolved?) over the years.

They don't have the patch notes linked, though, which is kind of annoying. And you'll probably want to wade through the patch note list anyway to find the significant between-expansion patches (e.g. Apocrypha 1.5 ù it changed things quite a bit for being "just a patch"). ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

They might have something interesting coming up and reveal it at Penny arcade expo in september.
It better be so since Link Hughes, a CCCP Dev said so in his Facebook.

If CCP = CCCP then why did they nerf the drone regions? |

"Bigger, badder NPC pirates now lie in wait for those who wander too far from the protection of CONCORD. Cruiser-flying pirates may be spotted wandering in systems where security levels range from 0.0 - 0.4. Pirate-manned battleships, a beefier version of the player-owned ships, prowl in deep space. It is strongly suggested that players not attempt to fight these new breeds of villians without adequate wingmen and sound strategy."
So Pirate npc battleships were originally tougher than player ones, and not designed to be soloed? That would have been interesting.

This bug will fixed approximately 3 years after initial introduction and applauded by all kinds of fanbois telling people "CCP never wanted to have it the way it was for that last years - they just didn't have time to fix it"

Well player ships where much worse back then, only 1 bonus, much less hp (hp has been boosted 2 times), no t2 mods or drones, players had on avg worse skills etc. So at release it might even have been true.
