When you fleet up to share a mission, I have heard that the standings or ISK are shared with all the members in the fleet. Now, I seem to recall being prompted if I wanted to share the ISK rewards, but I have a question about how standings work.
Say I can only run L2 missions, but a corp mate is running L4s and invites me along. Are the standings shared, even if I cannot access that agent?

Your friend will be able to select to share the mission reward with you as long as you are in fleet with him at the time. You do not need to be able to use the agent to get your cut. ~ Undista STAR - Support, Training & Resources |

Right, the mission reward is shared, but what about the standings increase? (Sorry if I'm being thick, I've just started my coffee.)

Edited by: Joe Starbreaker on 21/06/2010 17:42:52 Important note: if another fleet member is outside of the agent's system, he will get a cut of the ISK, but will not get a cut of the standings. You must be in the same system as the agent when the mission is turned in, in order to get a share of standings. I don't know if you need to be in the station or not. I've never tried it when a fleet member was in system but not docked.
EDIT: It just occurred to me that I don't know if the LP share works like the ISK or like the standings.
Presumably CCP designed it this way so that you couldn't just pay someone to raise your NPC standings while you were off doing fun things in 0.0.

This is DEFINITELY not true.
I'm boosting my miner's standings (she's mining near Jita) with a character in Amarr space and she DOES get 50% of the standings increase, 50% of the mission reward and 50% of the LP.
She does NOT get the ISK from the kill bounties, but that's all. She also doesn't get the standings decrease from killing faction ships btw so she's still neutral with all the pirate and empire factions while having high standings with Navy and R+D corporations.
One thing though: the miner has to relog to get the standings increase, it doesn't happen instantly like ISK and LP.

Apparently you can. Storyline missions don't work that way though, only corp standings.

You might want to check your facts. You will get a share of the corporation standings increase (but not any faction standings from storyline missions) even if you are not in the same system. There is however a display bug that does not show these standing increases on your character sheet if you are not in the system where the mission is being turned in. If you relog, the changes will then show.
If the mission "owner" chooses to share the rewards, the ISK, standings increase and any LP are split evenly amongst the number people in the fleet.

Ah, okay, that explains that then! Thanks for the correction.
