Edited by: Hecatonis on 22/06/2010 08:00:20 Edited by: Hecatonis on 22/06/2010 07:59:24 so in a couple days i will be done my current skill plan and i am looking for some new ideas.
please note i am amaar and have stuck to skills that work best with my base race.
i can fly up to BSs, and T2 frigs. learning skills are all at lvl 4. i can fly up to hulks with all mining skills as high as i would like them and I can use T2 drones. my hack, analyse and scan skills are up there, but i cannot use T2 of them. if i went for it, all my gunnery skills could be sitting at lvl 4+ within 2-3 weeks, but i have yet to learn any beam and large pulse specialisation.
so should i shore up my current skill set i already have now, start working on capital ship skills or go for T2 battle ships. as it stands my corp is happy with my progress and doesnt really mind what i choose, they are split on all three, i dont really know myself as i can pull off any role in the ops my corp puts out and happy to do so. and no i dont want to head into nulsec because the little blob epeen boys can have it to themselves.
so since i cant be bothered to think of anything, writing exams for the next week is taking up my time, what do you guys think?
PS me and the corp i am in already run lowsec ops, scanning deadspace, plexs, mining, WHs, missioning...well everything but we are based out of highsec.
edit: it helps when i dont forget random words. edit 2: i have been doing PI, sorry i should have added that in :) but thanks man :) |

You mentioned that your gunnery skills need some work, work on them. T2 lasers and good gunnery support skills are paramount to move forward. You say you fill the roles that your corp expects, now it's time to exceed there expectations. Building a t2 weapons base would be the way I would go, then steer into building a better core skill base (you'd be surprised how much it helps to level core skills to 5). After that I personally would move to maxing out a t3 hull, while expensive they operate well and aren't as skill intensive as a t2 battleship.
Good luck
AC
PS. it might surprise you to see how much better t2 guns are |

Certificates are there not only to look pretty but to give some very good suggestions as to how you should be training. I am not saying go for each one as some are slightly ridiculous and outdated, but the core, gunnery and such are very good outlines.
