Why everytime internet cuts out does Eve go trolololol and then close itself.
Is getting it to try and refind the connection with out going absolutely epispastic on itself that difficult?
there could even be a little twirly thing in the corner. Just think how fun that would be.
tl(really?)dr: why can't eve have a normal reconnection feature like other games.

You seriously need to get a proper Internet connection. That way, you can download a spell/grammar checker.

Think yourself lucky. If my internet drops EVE quits and then writes a "vivo" log to the 'bin' folder - this causes EVE not to start until I delete the log.
Logged a bug, filtered, waited..... waited..... gave up.
Now I just use the crossed-fingers method

Oh come on, it wasn't that bad. I mean, yes, there where mistakes, but at least I didn't feel any vertigo after trying to make sense out of it. In fact, it actually made sense from start to finish.
Is that not the goal of language? Nay, is that not the goal of communication? To be understood and make sense?
Oh, and in some countries the options for internet are: 1. Bad 2. Worse 3. No internet connection at all
Anyways, I agree with the op, it is uneccesary to crash the client when it DC's. Just leave it in a "passive" mode, and have a reconnect button which you can periodically click to ping the server or something.

IIRC there once was the possibility to get back to the character selection screen without logging in again, but this logging in-logging out voodoo corrupted the client and created evil zombie hamsters in your computer (figuratively), so i guess this is a good idea but could explode your computer.

Is the "trolololol" a sound or something? I'll have to look out for it.

Having eve reconnect itself would usually put you in a position where you are already warping to a deadspot, so you will need to wait to get there, wait to stop warping and wait to turn around and jump back. I think it is faster to log in again and already be at the deadspot.
Eve does not close for me but goes back to the login screen, where i only need to enter my password and press enter twice to be logged back in... not exactly difficult.

Type it in on YouTube.
Also by my reckoning my only grammar mistakes were: 2x nonsensical words 1x Partly nonsensical sentence start 1x extra space and lack of question mark 1x incorrect usage of parenthesis I guess.

How can you not know trololololo?!
It's also the perfect description for what the eve client does before it shuts down due to a lost connection.
You still see everything as normal, hear some sounds, but soon you realize it does not really make sense. Then you realize it's all nonsense because the connection to real world was lost and you need to shut it down immediately.
