Louis deGuerre Gallente Amicus Morte Shock an Awe	Posted - 2010.06.23 21:43:00 - [2] Once an alliance has established sovereignty in a system they can put down an infrastructure hub (in space) and install upgrades in it (when you've ratted/mined etc enough) to make the system better. Sovereignty means you own the system, that you have Territorial Claim Unit up and running (in space). These can be destroyed by means of Sovereignty Blockade Units and about a week of fighting if all goes well. An outpost is a player built station. So not a POS, but an actual station. While you do pay a bill for sov it is not to rent, it is to pay for "stargate maintenance". "SOV Space" is space that is owned by a specific alliance. The money they pay is in upkeep costs. If you have good diplomacy skills you can get your small alliance/corps out into 0.0 as a "pet" corp (renter) of the alliance that holds the space... just be sure to cover all your bases. You go in, you pull aggro, kill all the NPCs, and profit off the loot and salvage (POSs are a completely different thing altogether).
