Original thread found on Eve search when it disappeared from OOPE forum As you can see, it was morphed into another thread by an ! faceless alt of some CCP. You can see the thread was from out of pod experience, moved to the alliance thread, and the contents changed. Whoever CCP did this is a very low dog, and abusing their "privileges". Not only that, they had no guts to show their face or say who they were, so noone can submit a complaint against them. There's a lot of things CCP has done to try to draw in new players, and there is a few things it has done to try to upgrade for older players, like this server move. But in truth, the reality is that this server move does help old players, yet it helps new players as well. So what have they done thats just for old players, just to keep them wanting to play. They seem to be moving to a style of income where they desire a large turnover rate instead of a large loyalty rate. There's been loads and loads of things to try to get more subs, but not to keep subs. WoW kiddies love the idea of Incarna, where they get to look cool and dance naked at mailboxes in spacestations, as well as the updating graphics, because the shiny attracts the low attention span people who don't care about depth and well structured gameplay. just look at WoW. If its massive and shiny, 12 year olds will play. Meanwhile, what happened to FW? What happened to trying to continue to work on T1 ship balances? What's going to happen to PI when its no longer the cool new feature imp of the month? What happened to even a 1 mb patch to fix what was obviously a slip of the coding finger in regard to rockets? I'm having my subs cancelled or not re-GTC'd by the end of July, and leaving them in that manner for the first two weeks of august. Thats a two week non-profit for them. Anyone else who wants to join me (particularly college students since it coincides with their new semester), feel free to pull weight altogether with me. One thing CCP did that greatly decreased this ability to dissent is the lack of posting without paying money. As one person unaptly put it, eve is so cool that people pay to complain about it. Rather, Eve is run by tightwads so well that you cant complain unless you're subbed. That insulates Eve against reality of both players who simply left and got fed up, and players who would say something but can't because they aren't subbed. Sure, the number of subs has gone up, I'd like to know how many are the multiboxing 14 account types that simply have nothing else to do but play eve all day every day. Summary- I will be unsubbing for the first two weeks in august to protest the pretty bells and whistles that are trumping substance (fixing FW and rockets come to mind), making the game just like a botox supermodel, pretty outside but barren inside. Anyone who wants to join me can. Regarding people saying, "what it matter you will sub again anyway". Thats a two week loss in money. you cant really think subbing again will suddenly get them back those two weeks..

You did, indeed, post that during the brief period of time the forums were online before they got shut down again. According to this thread a few threads from last night have disappeared, which means the database on the forums was rolled back. Due to the way threads work, a new thread is assigned it's thread ID by the last threadID +1. Its all totally true, CCP where so concerned about your protest and attempted to prevent it from gaining any support by deliberately taking all the forums offline and not only deleted your thread they removed all of the threads in case you had cross posted. Unfortunately they then realised EVE search still contained your post so they offered Chribba a unique one hundred run T3 Veldspar mining crystal BPC in return for mixing up your thread with others thus disguising it. Keep a watch on the sky's to just in case CCP spray some chem-trails of mind altering drugs to try and make you change your mind about the protest.
