Well gents, I'm at the point in ninja salvaging where I'm looting so they would shoot at me and I come back in a gankboat.
Yet, the problem is I do not have an idea of what makes a good gankboat for a ninja salvager like me. So I am requesting any sort of fits that works as a gankboat. preferences: minmatar, buffer tank (can be active if it works).
Maybe a phoon with 5 seige, 3 ac/arties, gyros/bcus armor buffer in the low, tackling stuff and speed in the meds?
Or a pest? 6 ACs and 2 neuts?
Been looking over some of the BC fits, hard to find a specific one for a ninja gankboat.
Help me out lads!

You won't find what you need on BC or SCH since our needs aren't those of a typical PVP encounter. IMHO, the cookie cutter Hurricane is a good place to start and then move on to the Phoon. The torp Raven is also not a bad beginner MR gank ship.

I use a HAM Drake, might not be the best choice but it's affordable and flexible.

You definately want neuts. Typhoon with 5 torp launchers, 5 heavy drones (damage types to match their resist hole) and 3 neuts will very quickly destroy precious carebear boats. If it's Cruiser sized (T3) then you'll want to use ACs instead.

For the three neuts, should I have two heavy neuts and one med neut to keep the bears dry? Or one heavy, one med, and an ac/arty for moar gankage?

Why not just steal with a ship that you can kill them with so you don't have to warp out and come back in?

Obvious clue is obvious. You don't salvage with a slow boat battleship brick and a T2/T3 just screams that the ninja wants the carebear to get up in their grill.
As for ganking carebears:
Carebear kills Ninja
Don't always expect the expected. Fitted properly, Ashina Sito shows even a PVP ship can mission with a cap booster and fill in the resist 2 resist holes to have an omni tank.
