1. When your ship gets destroyed (whether it be noob or BS) do you always get a noob ship replacement?
2. If you receive a noob replacement where does it appear?
3. Can players exchange bookmarks.

1. Yes you will be left in a life pod when your ship blows up and once you dock at a station you will automatically get a noob class ship and 1 free Tritanium ...w00t
2. See above, in the hangar when you dock
3. Yes, yes they can
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

a little correction to the above poster:
1. Yes, you will get a Rookie Frigate with a civilian gun and a basic miner as well as 1 Tritanium in the cargo hold IF you don't have any other ships on the station you're docking at after the POD-Travel. If you have a shuttle there, no new rookie frig, you have to use the shuttle then.
3. (only an addition) Players can only exchange Bookmarks like they can exchange items. You cannot send a Bookmark vie EVE Mail or so. To create a copy of a bookmark which you can give to friend through trading press shift and drag the bookmark out of People & Places into a container or cargo hold. Hold shift until the new Bookmark appears in the can and make sure it really copied before giving it away. Releasing shift too early will result in moving the Bookmark, not copying it.
