Edited by: Malcanis on 27/06/2010 10:50:27 Say what you like about Iceland, they do produce some of the best trolls in the world.
EDIT: This guy seems legit!:
"In his acceptance speech he tried to calm the fears of the other 65.3 percent. ôNo one has to be afraid of the Best Party,ö he said, ôbecause it is the best party. If it wasnÆt, it would be called the Worst Party or the Bad Party. We would never work with a party like that.ö
Malcanis' Law: Whenever a mechanics change is proposed on behalf of "new players", that change is always to the overwhelming advantage of richer, older players. |

Well, let's look at this pragmatically. Under "normal" politicians, Iceland was brought to the brink of collapse and ruin. It doesn't have a military, its main export is EvE, and there are like ten cities on the entire island, if even that many (sounds like a paradise to me, actually). I fail to see how this could even be a bad thing...it might even bring in more tourists.
I mean, seriously, what damage could a comedian possibly do to a tiny island nation made up of volcanoes whose people pretty much run the country themselves anyway?
Sounds awesome to me.

I'm sure he'll do a great job and it pretty much sums up the worlds politics atm. People are desperate for change and seek something different that may just have a chance.
Just hope it works out for them all.

I do like his position on polar bears and pet rocks. Clearly someone who likes bears and would be a hulk pilot in eve. http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1213058 Hi-sec R&D corp boosting is open for business! |
